Hearing the serious tone in Xie Limo’s voice, Yun Bixue nodded and said, “I understand. Even though my leg is injured, I did not want to stay there any longer, so I tried to distance myself from them as much as possible. I even gave them goosebumps. They won’t dare to come near me now.”

Xie Limo caressed Yun Bixue’s head resignedly and said, “I’m done with the bandage. Don’t let your feet come into contact with water for a couple of days.”

“Okay. By the way, I asked Xie Shisan to dress up as a woman today. Now that I have Ah Qiu and Ah Mei as my bodyguards, you can just let Xie Shisan stay by your side!”

“Okay.”

Ah Qiu and Ah Mei stayed in a small district nearby. From now on, they would accompany Yun Bixue every day when she went out and protect her throughout the day. As long as Young Master Xie came back home, they would automatically leave.

Seeing that Xie Limo’s tone had softened, Yun Bixue leaned into his embrace and said, “Hubby, I missed you when I saw you on the news today.”

She felt that if Yun Dong could say that she missed her so casually, she should say it in front of her Mr. Xie too.

Hearing Yun Bixue’s words, Xie Limo felt a ripple in his heart. He put his hand around his wife and hugged her lightly, resting his head in her hair.

“Good.”

“That’s all?”

Xie Limo smiled lightly and asked, “Then what do you want to hear?” As he said that, he caressed the long hair that flowed down her back.

“I want to hear you say that you miss me too. Limo, you miss me too, right?” Yun Bixue sat up from his embrace and stared into his eyes, as though trying to find the answer from them.

There was a dark glow in Xie Limo’s exquisite eyes. Yun Bixue could not read his expression, but she continued staring into them.

Xie Limo was defeated by her gaze and replied in a gentle tone, “I miss you if you say so.”

Yun Bixue felt sweetness in her heart. This arrogant man was definitely embarrassed about saying such things.

It was just like how they were at the start. They felt embarrassed about saying their heartfelt emotions. Even if they missed each other, they could only keep their feelings to themselves and suppress them rather than saying it out loud.

Seeing that Xie Limo was in a good mood now and even radiated a warm and gentle glow, Yun Bixue thought to herself that actually, men needed to hear a few sweet nothings too.

Xie Limo released Yun Bixue from his embrace and let her sit on the sofa. He then stood up to go to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

Yun Bixue did not want him to leave, so she clung onto his back just as he was getting up.

“Be good now. I will go and cook dinner.” Xie Limo did not dare to make any big moves as he was scared that he would sway Yun Bixue.

“I want to talk to you more.”

“Didn’t you just tell me everything that happened today?”

“There are still some things I haven’t told you. Why don’t you carry me into the kitchen and cook at the same time?”

Xie Limo clenched his teeth resignedly. He turned to look at Yun Bixue, who was hanging onto him like a koala. It made her look extremely clingy.

“Are you a kid? You want me to carry you on my back while I cook?”

“Yeah. I saw on the TV that you can carry someone on your back with a back strap. It’s very stable and won’t interfere with anything. I believe in my Mr. Xie’s physical capabilities. You can definitely carry me on your back while cooking.”

Xie Limo did not concede and merely placed Yun Bixue down from his back gently as he said, “Just stay here and rest. I will turn on the TV for you, so just watch while you wait for me, alright? We’ll have dinner in a short while.”

There was an innocent look in Yun Bixue’s eyes as she stared deeply at Xie Limo. She hugged the pillow on the sofa and muttered, “Actually, I saw An Yexuan today too. I feel so frustrated. I really want him to disappear from my sight.”

Hearing Yun Bixue’s mutter, Xie Limo’s heart softened immediately. He squatted down and said, “Alright, come here. I’ll carry you, but don’t move around carelessly, okay?”
