Yun Bilu and Bai Yaoyao laughed and goofed around together. After a while, they became tired, and they fell asleep while leaning on each other.

The next morning, Yun Bilu washed up before going to the bedroom on the first floor.

When she arrived at Huang Yize’s bedroom and did not see him right away, she searched around but to no avail. Naturally, she grew despondent. When one got used to having a person by their side and suddenly couldn’t see them anymore, they tend to become anxious without knowing it.

In that manner, Yun Bilu stood barefooted outside Huang Yize’s bedroom. Her silence melded with her dispirited figure, exuding an aura of unexplainable loneliness.

When Huang Yize came out of the bathroom and saw Yun Bilu’s downtrodden form, his heart ached uncontrollably. He furrowed his brows and asked, “What’s wrong? Why are you standing there looking like that? Who made you angry?” A dangerous gleam shone in his eyes as he asked the last question.

After hearing Huang Yize’s voice, something lifted from Yun Bilu’s heart, and she turned to the source of the voice. Huang Yize was wearing a bathrobe, and his hair was still dripping wet from showering. His entire body exuded an intoxicating aura, showing off his limitless charms. Her heart was beating furiously, and it was quite a while before she finally found her voice. “Oh, you were taking a shower? I couldn’t find you.”

Huang Yize raised his head and looked at the clock on the wall. “It’s only six-thirty. Why are you up so early today?”

“I slept early last night and couldn’t fall back asleep after waking up. I’m here to talk to you about introducing a new guy to Elder Sister Yaoyao.” Yun Bilu’s eyes shone brightly when she said this.

Huang Yize’s lips thinned into a line. He gazed deeply at Yun Bilu, revealing an expression of displeasure. A dark light flashed in his eyes as he walked past Yun Bilu and entered the bedroom.

Yun Bilu was baffled at his reaction. Didn’t he say that he would help her? Why would he go back on his words? How sneaky of him. She chased after him and said, “Hey, Huang Yize. You promised me, so you cannot go back on your words.”

Huang Yize sat on the bed and crossed his legs before patting the empty spot beside him. “Sit here.”

Yun Bilu sat beside him with a puzzled expression. When she reached over to try to tug his arm, he pushed her down on the bed and trapped her.

She looked up confusedly at Huang Yize and asked, “Ah? What’s this?”

Beads of cold sweat formed on Huang Yize’s forehead. This girl was really a killjoy. He trapped her arms and pointed at her nose. “Is that why you woke up so early today? You wanted to meet those guys?”

“What are you blabbering about? I’m doing this for Elder Sister Yaoyao. She’s so upset right now, so I want to help her walk out from this shadow.”

Looking at Yun Bilu’s clear and determined gaze, Huang Yize finally let her go and sat up.

However, Yun Bilu remained lying there in a daze. Huang Yize’s chest was too amazing—it was tempting her soul. It was her first time seeing a man’s chest, and it was as though her eyes were glued to it. She couldn’t shift her gaze and even had the urge to look down further.

Huang Yize noticed that Yun Bilu did not get up even after a long while. When he turned around and saw her looking at him in a daze, he silently fixed his bathrobe and asked, “Why are you still lying there?”

“Oh! Oh!” Yun Bilu immediately composed herself and sat up. The atmosphere between the two was a little too awkward.

That beautiful scene replayed in her mind, and she couldn’t keep her gaze from wandering.

As for Huang Yize, he couldn’t calm himself as well after realizing that his girlfriend was by his side. After all, he was a normal man too. He broke the awkward silence and spoke, “Go out of the room first. We can discuss the rest during breakfast.”
