Yun Bixue watched the youth before her. His eyes indeed shared a resemblance to Miao Zifu. Their DNA had also been verified; the youth really was an immediate family member of Miao Zifu.

Thinking of Miao Zifu, Yun Bixue didn’t know how to feel. They used to be close university roommates and friends, but it ultimately changed beyond recognition because of a man.

If Miao Zifu didn’t harbor any longing for her younger brother, she wouldn’t have been willing to turn over a new leaf.

“You’re Zhou Zinan right?”

Zhou Zinan nodded.

“Do you still remember if you have any relatives? Do you have an older sister?”

Zhou Zinan raised his eyes and glanced at Yun Bixue. His face turned a little red from shyness. He then lowered his head and answered softly, “Yes, I remember my older sister. My childhood memories are a little, but I do know that she would always hug me and call me ‘Zinan, Zinan’. I only remember this name, but not my surname. Later, I followed my foster father and took on the surname ‘Zhou’.”

As he spoke, he widened his eyes. “Miss Yun, they said that you could help me find my older sister. Is that true?”

Yun Bixue felt that it was very odd. He appeared to be an innocent youth no matter how she appraised him; both naive and inexperienced. How could he be the top ‘gold finger’ internationally and command the crises of the stock markets? It was hard to imagine him having a swift and strict demeanor.

“Let’s go. I’ll take you to visit your older sister.”

Hearing that, Zhou Zinan was buzzing with excitement. He really could find his blood-related older sister. He worked hard to learn from his foster father and strove to do his best, all for the day when he would possess the abilities to locate his older sister.

Zhou Zinan looked at Yun Bixue’s back and happily followed.

Yun Bixue brought Zhou Zinan to purchase some supplies, and they then went to the prisons to visit Miao Zifu.

When Miao Zifu came out, Yun Bixue watched her plain and quiet appearance. Her gaze was filled with nostalgia; this was the Miao Zifu that she had known at the start of university.

Not the extravagantly dressed, provocative and bossy person that she later became.

The Miao Zifu who looked plain and without makeup was more pleasing to the eyes.

“Miao Zifu, how are you? The new year is almost here, so I brought you some things to celebrate and also some food.” As she spoke, Yun Bixue placed the bags next to Miao Zifu.

Her words cracked Miao Zifu’s calm expression. She sneered mockingly, “Yun Bixue, so you’re still acting like a saint? After how I treated you, why are you still here to see me?”

“I originally wasn’t planning on coming, but since I’m already here, I might as well just visit you.”

Miao Zifu looked at Yun Bixue, and a tinge of gentleness flashed across her desolate and lonely eyes. She sighed, “You still haven’t changed. Everyone in prison is talking about how powerful and callous you are. After spending four years together in university, I can still understand you to a certain extent. It’s because you’re too kind and soft-hearted that An Yexuan was stolen away by someone else in the end. But, it’s for the best that you now have Young Master Xie.”

Yun Bixue was used to Miao Zifu throwing her weight around and her crudeness. For a moment, she couldn’t get used to such words. “Miao Zifu, do you hate me very much?”

“I’ve already reached this state, so why would I still hate you? I’ve been here for several months, and each day that passes feels like a year. Besides you, no one else has visited me. If you hadn’t requested the people inside to take care of me, I wouldn’t know what kind of torture I’d have to face. I’m not foolish, but I have done Duan Qiushu wrong. However, I don’t regret it. Going crazy over An Yexuan, that’s also a part of life, isn’t it?”

Yun Bixue couldn’t agree with Miao Zifu’s concept of love. However, if Miao Zifu could change for the better, Yun Bixue could also heave a sigh of relief. After all, during the initial days of their university, they were more innocent and had shared a wonderful friendship.
