“A senior brother? Master and father? You still want to fight me for others!” In the last 20 years while he suffered in the ice, only one person offered Xuan Xiao help, which was why Xuan Xiao only showed a sliver of kindness to Yun Tianhe.

When Yun Tianhe refused to ascend with him for the last time, Xuan Xiao became so furious that he looked like a maniac.

Many years ago, when Faction Chief Taiqing Spiritual Master died and the Lord of the demon realm lived, most disciples in the Qionghua Faction thought that it was quite probable that they would be defeated. To some extent, releasing the demon realm and ending the war had saved the whole faction. However, Xuan Xiao had suffered the burning of Xihe’s power for 20 years in the chilly ice, and there was no way around it.

Yun Tianhe had his own reasons. “You don’t want to give up ascendance… but I have to save Lingsha and others!”

In the Legend of Sword and Fairy 4, there was no final battle like the one with the ancient water demon beast in the Legend of Sword and Fairy 1, or like the one with Chong Lou, the almighty demon lord who was the most powerful across six realms at the end of the Legend of Sword and Fairy 3.

With 90 percent of his strength to keep Qionghua in the air and slowly rising toward Kunlun Heaven Light, Xuan Xiao used the remaining ten percent of his strength to fight his opponent.

However, only ten percent of his strength was still powerful. The strong ice and fire presences could turn anyone into ash or ice if they got close.

This battle wasn’t as stunning as the one fighting with the water demon beast in the Legend of Sword and Fairy 1, and it wasn’t as hearty and enjoyable as the one with the Almighty Demon Lord Chong Lou at the end of the Legend of Sword and Fairy 3.

Regardless of how this battle ended, there was no winner. The audience didn’t want to see either of them lose.

“How come the Legend of Sword and Fairy 4 is going to end like this?!” In the old shops, the players looked anxious. They would rather watch a battle with the Almighty Demon Lord Chong Lou at the end of the Legend of Sword and Fairy 3 since it was more peaceful.

“Elder Su, who do you support…?” Nalan Mingxue asked.

“I hope Yun Tianhe wins, but I will pity Xuan Xiao if he fails at this stage.”

On the Cloud Platform, sword energies swept around and crossed each other while countless blinding sword beams and sword arrays shot down like raindrops. While Murong Ziying fought Faction Chief Su Yao, the sword beams from Five Spirits Returning to Root and Thousand Fragment Light Sword engulfed the whole platform.

Yun Tianhe pulled the Hou Yi Sun-Shooting Bow to its limit.

Xuan Xiao’s ice and fire energies spread out. The ice froze everything, and fire burned everything, turning the whole Cloud Platform into a world of fire and ice!

Flying swords flew past each other, and ice and fire collided with the bow and swords. Each attack was deadly until one sword energy cut into Xuan Xiao.

Blood spilled.

Covering his wound, Xuan Xiao half kneeled on the ground and said with hatred, “Tianhe, I went easy on you, but you aimed to kill me! Good! Really good!”

It must be noted that if Yun Tianhe were defeated here, Xuan Xiao wouldn’t kill him, which made the Legend of Sword and Fairy 4 less difficult to play than the Legend of Sword and Fairy 3.

“I can only use ten percent of my strength to deal with you while using the rest to support Qionghua in the air. Aren’t you guys taking advantage of me?!”

Hearing Xuan Xiao’s furious accusations, the audience became curious and wondered, Will the game end like this?

On the screen, the conversation continued.

“Xuan Xiao… Why?! You can always find another way to ascend! I’ll go with you until we find it!”

Xuan Xiao was silent for a long time and then shook his head firmly. “You are 22 years too late! When I was in a bottleneck while cultivating with the dual swords, no one asked me to give up. When I obtained some progress and mutated my meridians, no one asked me to give up. When I lost the Wangshu Sword and burned day and night in the fire, no one cared. Now, it’s too late!”

“The story is not bad, but it’s too…” Su Tianji sighed, “How can it end like this…?”

At this moment, a wave of cold and radiant light fell from the sky. It was Kunlun Heaven Light that people of Qionghua Faction had dreamed about!
