Gu Zhaoming suddenly stood up and subconsciously looked around. Seeing that there was no one around, he sat down and leaned towards Gu Yang, asking softly, “How did you find out about this?”

That shouldn’t be the case!

The accounts of their company’s Finance Department were quite clean! Besides, Yangyang had never systematically come into contact with such things, so how could she read the accounts?

Before Gu Yang transmigrated, she was someone who had to inherit billions of assets. She knew how to do the accounts and knew about the twists and turns. She said softly, “Dad, the company’s fake accounts are too perfect.”

If it was too perfect, there would be something fishy.

With the script in hand, she knew that Zhaofeng Entertainment had signed a dodgy contract to avoid taxes and evasion of more than a billion dollars.

Therefore, she went to the Finance Department to investigate tax evasion.

The head of the Finance Department was Gu Zhaoming’s confidant. He knew that Gu Zhaoming treated her as the heir of Zhaofeng Entertainment, so he did not guard against her. He let her read the documents of the Finance Department.

The finance director probably also felt that Gu Yang was young and didn’t know how to read accounts, so when he saw Gu Yang flip through the paper contract in the safe, he was still calm and chatty.

Gu Zhaoming originally thought that Gu Yang was just scaring him, but after hearing her say the secret codes on the dodgy contracts, he believed her.

Only he and the finance director knew these secret signals. Even if others saw them, they would only understand what they meant on the surface.

Gu Zhaoming suddenly looked at Gu Yang with sparkling eyes. “Daughter, when your college entrance examination is over, come to the Finance

Department for an internship! I will give you a position as a deputy director!”

Gu Yang,

Gu Zhaoming and Gu Yang ate at the company’s leaders’ canteen. When they arrived, there weren’t many people, but now that there were more and more people in the canteen, Gu Yang didn’t continue the topic.

After returning to the office with Gu Zhaoming, she made an excuse to send the secretary out to make coffee. Then, she looked at Gu Zhaoming with a serious expression. “Dad, our company doesn’t have a criminal record. It’s not too late to pay the tax of more than a billion.”

Gu Zhaoming looked at Gu Yang’s serious expression and couldn’t help but rub her head. “Yangyang, don’t tell anyone about this. Others won’t be able to see those things. Even if they see them without a secret code, they won’t be able to understand them. We have connections at home.

“Don’t worry. As long as no one messes with our family like they did with the Xue family, our family can withstand the investigation. You don’t have to think too much. Just be a carefree little princess.

Gu Yang pursed her lips, but the problem was that there was indeed someone in the original book who wanted to mess with the Gu family like they did with the Xue family.

Although the Gu family’s bankruptcy was driven by external forces, if the Gu family did not commit questionable deeds, would they fall so quickly?

Just like the current Xue family. The Xue family’s bankruptcy was indeed caused by the Big Sister and Little Blood Bank. However, if the Xue family did not do those things, how could others expose so much dirt on them?

Gu Yang said softly, “Dad, I know you think I’m naive and don’t know the ways of the world. I also understand the principle that when water is clear, there will be no fish. Any family business that has developed so much can’t be completely clean. The Xue family has already been caught evading taxes. Did the authorities only set up a special task force and come to Jin City just to investigate the Xue family?”

Gu Zhaoming, who was dealing with official business, was stunned. He stopped what he was doing and looked at Gu Yang seriously.

Too many things had happened in the Xue family, distracting him. He had never thought about this problem.

Gu Zhaoming followed Gu Yang’s train of thought and suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

All of them were watching as the Xue family’s problems unfolded, but the Xue family’s matter reflected the current situation for the wealthy families in Jin City. Furthermore, after this incident, the authorities would definitely investigate taxes strictly..
