Gu Yang didn’t say anything and just listened to Ruan Xueling.

From time to time, she would hand her a tissue to wipe her tears or a cup of warm tea.

Ruan Xueling wiped her tears. The more she spoke, the more agitated she became. “l did as you said and handed the revised photocopied Angel series jewelry design to Director Mu. I also marked every design with fluorescent powder in advance and let Director Mu supervise the production.

“A few days later, when I went to check on his work, I used an ultraviolet flashlight and found that none of the designs in his hand had fluorescent powder. When compared to the original Angel series jewelry designs, there were many changes.

“I called the police. After the police interrogated him, I learned that he had leaked the photocopies with fluorescent powder to Mrs. Xu. He even helped to forge modified designs to imitate the Angel series jewelry.”

As Ruan Xueling spoke, she felt extremely lucky. Fortunately, she had listened to Yangyangs suggestion and decided to test it out. Otherwise, the real Angel series jewelry design would already be in the hands of Mrs. Xu.

The designs in her hands would become a modified version and deemed completely useless.

When the jewelry was released, not only would it become a joke, but they would also suffer heavy financial losses. They would also offend Ms. Caroline and even make those famous jewelry designers completely disappointed in Xue Yao Jewelry.

After all, who would work with such an incompetent company?

“Mom treats Director Mu so well, why would he betray Xue Yao Jewelry? What benefits did Mrs. Xu give him?” Gu Yang asked gently.

Ruan Xueling sneered. “What else could it be? He’s just being cheap! In high school, he had a crush on Mrs. Xu, but Mrs. Xu was a rich girl, and he was just a poor boy with average looks. He finally mustered up the courage to confess, but he was humiliated by Mrs. Xu.

“At that time, we were considered good friends, so 1 helped him vent his anger. I thought that he had given up after being humiliated, but 1 didn’t expect him to still suck up to that b*tch in secret. He even loved her so much that he gave up his career to become a spy in Xue Yao Jewelry.

“Back then, I didn’t want to be a housewife and founded Xue Yao Jewelry alone. In the beginning, Xue Yao Jewelry was doing well and even snatched a lot of the Xu family’s business. Perhaps it was because the company had become a strong opponent of the familys jewelry business in Jin City that Mrs. Xu asked him to join me as a spy.”

Ruan Xuelings heart was still cold. She had never thought that her best friend of more than 30 years would betray her for a woman who had once humiliated and looked down on him.

Gu Yang asked gently, “Then what does Mom plan to do next?”

Ruan Xueling had been betrayed and harmed by the company’s most trusted person for so many years. She was really angry. ” Sue him until he goes bankrupt and goes to jail! He stole and leaked so many business secrets of the company. He can expect plenty of jail time!”

Gu Yang handed Ruan Xueling a cup of chrysanthemum tea that had just been brewed. “Mom, it’s not worth getting angry over such a person. Don’t be angry and hurt your health.”

Gu Pei also echoed indignantly, “That’s right. Such an ingrate should be jailed for life!”

Ruan Xueling looked up and realized that Gu Pei, Gu Jin, and Feng Jue were also silently sitting on the sofa opposite her. It was rare for Gu Jin and Gu Pei not to play the Legend of the Gods.

Seeing Ruan Xueling looking over, Feng Jue said obediently, “Mother, Sister is right. Don’t be angry.”

Being surrounded by so many children comforting her, Ruan Xueling’s heart suddenly softened and felt a little warm. She looked at the cold Gu Jin again, her eyes filled with anticipation.

Gu Jin looked away from her slightly red eyes and casually asked, “Do you need me to recommend a lawyer for you?”
