My Dear Mr. Nice

Oooh, Micaela wanted so badly to bite herself for admitting it like that!

Looking into his deep eyes, Micaela bit her lip, knowing she probably couldn’t get away with it either.

When she got out of the car, she didn’t even dare to look at Raul, her head down and wanting to fly upstairs.

Carlos had his book in his hand and was looking at the girl walking in front of him, the corners of his mouth puckered a little more.

When he got home, Carlos took the book to his study, closed the door, took out the picture and put it in his folder, then carefully went through the book again and left it alone when there was nothing else.

After dinner, the two went into the studio together, Carlos on business and Micaela at the round table preparing her work for the final.

The sketches were quite irritating, the scope was too wide and I didn’t know where to focus. I kept thinking about it, but I kept thinking that my senior design had more feeling. Visit NovelCEO for the full chapter.

I didn’t realize it was almost ten o’clock, so I didn’t want to draw anymore, I’ll talk about it tomorrow.

Micaela suddenly remembered the book she had brought and approached Carlos at his desk.

-Carlos, where is the book I brought, I’ll take it upstairs and read it later before going to sleep....

Carlos turned and tugged on her arm, a force that made her fall into his arms, his thin lips wandered over her face, his voice extraordinarily magnetic.

-Do you still have energy to read before bed? It seems I wasn’t working hard enough.....

Micaela blushed a little and struggled to get up.

Carlos changed the subject and asked.

-I thought we said we were going back for the computer?

When he left, he only took one book with him.

Micaela stopped her movements and looked at Carlos.

-I actually wanted to go back for the flash drive, I thought it was in the computer, I probably lost it and couldn’t find it, I didn’t want to bring that computer.

Carlos had long since prepared new laptops for her, both Barrio Fanslan and Nyisrenda had them.

Carlos did not think much about it and said abruptly.

-Give me the key there.

Micaela was surprised, yes, she had said she wanted someone to clean the house, so she couldn’t do it without a key, so she got up hurriedly, took the key out of her purse and gave it to Carlos.

Looking at the time, Carlos turned off the computer and, with a push, took the girl in his arms again, his thin lips sought her ear and whispered.

-Micaela, give me some water.....

The girl blushed even more and begged for mercy.

-Carlos, don’t say that.....

Carlos stopped her with a mocking smile on his lips and took her by the waist to carry her upstairs.

The next morning, Carlos finished exercising, showered and changed, sat on the edge of the bed and looked at the girl.

She showed no sign of waking up, her breathing was light and long, she was sleeping soundly, her long dark hair was spread out on the pillow, her face red, her eyelashes fanning, her lips still slightly swollen, all of it made his heart flutter....

Carlos leaned over, kissed her forehead and got up to go downstairs first.

He entered the study and took down from the bookshelf the album the girl had brought with her.

He too had looked at the album many times, marveling at how lovely his girl had been as a child....

He sat down at the desk and opened the album, his eyes falling on the woman to the left of the picture of the girl’s family of three, who was the girl’s mother.

Halfway through the day, he pulled out the photo he had cut out of the binder yesterday, from that book, the photo was well preserved, not a bit damaged, but you could see there was some age, and, on the back of the photo, was the time the photo was printed, twenty years ago, and the person in the photo, and his girl looked, exactly the same...
