My Dear Mr. Nice

Carlos was in a meeting, the large conference room was full of the general managers of all the branches, they were coming from the surrounding provinces, from the cities and from abroad to the headquarters to do the annual summary, this meeting would last all morning.

When Micaela’s message arrived, he was concentrating on listening to his men’s speeches and did not notice that the phone on his desk, which was silent, blinked for a moment, and only when it was approaching ten o’clock at night did he unconsciously glance at it and find a text message alert.

”Did the girl send me a picture? Did she pick out a gift for someone and send it to me for reference? I had told her I didn’t need to prepare a gift, but the girl didn’t listen to me. She didn’t need to please people, no one could influence my mind...”

Seeing that picture, Carlos stood up, startling the speaker.

Carlos looked at the picture, a little excited, a little incredulous, but he couldn’t help but feel his heart burst with ecstasy.

”Micaela is pregnant? Then it’s a sign from God!”

Carlos was so excited, he wanted to see her! Now!

He turned and left.

Diego, bewildered, got up and followed him out.

Carlos went back to his office and grabbed his car keys, turned on his phone’s location.

”Was she really at the mall? How does she go to such a crowded place if she’s pregnant? She can arrange for someone to buy what she wants, or I can go buy it myself, but how can she go by herself?”

”What an awkward thing to do!”

Carlos, who was always calm, was overflowing with emotion and even though he was worried about her, the corners of his lips turned up.

”I’m going to be a father...”

-Mr. Aguayo, what’s wrong with you...? -Diego asked anxiously.

How could he leave without saying anything when there were so many people in his office?

Carlos explained:

-I’m going to pick up Micaela, you run the meeting!

A few words went through Diego’s mind: I knew it!

If the gentleman was behaving erratically, it must be because of Miss Micaela.

-Is it Miss Micaela who is wrong? -asked Diego with concern.

But looking at him he seemed so happy and excited, Diego had never seen Carlos so happy in the ten years he had been with him! He couldn’t stop smiling between his eyebrows, which made people, like spring?

Carlos was so happy that he was so eager to share the news that he wanted everyone to know he was going to be a father! New chapters come out on novelceo dot com first.

Trying to repress his emotions so as not to get too excited, he said.

-Diego, Micaela is pregnant, I’m going to pick her up.

Diego took a breath of air, his eyes full of surprise.

”My God, the Aguayo family is having a boy?”

Diego nodded excitedly.

-You go ahead, sir, I’ll take care of the meeting!

Carlos turned and walked away.

Diego thought for a moment that this was big news and that he should tell Mr. Victor that he was going to be a grandfather.

Immediately, he pulled out his cell phone....

Carlos entered the elevator thinking that, since she was pregnant, she couldn’t go to work and had to stay home.

The wedding had better be prepared as soon as possible too, he was looking forward to waiting for Alba to get married together with her in the same time, but the baby in her belly couldn’t wait, she shouldn’t want to wear a wedding dress with a big belly either, right?

A phone call was made to Eric.

Eric looked at the words on the screen with fear and trepidation.

Mr. Aguayo.

In the Catyblaca Nation, Mr. Aguayo had given him his own private number for ease of contact, but in the past he had always contacted the room attendant, and had never called him despite having the number saved.

He didn’t dare keep Carlos waiting, so he hurried to answer it.

Carlos’ cold, unmistakable voice came through the microphone.

-Micaela’s entire contract will be postponed for the next two, no, three years, forget it, let’s cancel it!

”What?”

Eric barely managed to hold his phone before it fell to the floor.

-Mr. Aguayo, why, it can’t be like this, the work schedule for next year is all set?

-I’ll pay for all the damages, as many times as I want!

Then he hung up the phone. You are reading on novelceo.com, the official source.

My God, Eric was almost in tears, ”what’s going on?”

He didn’t dare call Carlos to ask him, so he called Micaela, but she didn’t answer any of the calls he made....

Micaela and Bianca were in a large shopping mall, wearing a mask and sunglasses, trying to reduce their presence and not be recognized by the people around them.
