My Dear Mr. Nice

Micaela was also immediately enraged:

-That is so abominable!

It suddenly occurred to her that if Alba also had someone to protect her maybe there wouldn’t be so many worries?

She thought of a solution, so first she and Alba scolded the old man together before going upstairs to rest together.

When she returned to her room, she immediately took out her phone and found Ernesto’s phone number.

I then sent Ernesto the old man’s phone number that I had just written down.

He got a message from Javier out of the blue:

-Taking a break?

-I’m getting ready for bed -Micaela replied.

-Micaela, I’m very happy today.

Without much thought, Micaela casually asked:

-Has something good happened?

-Yes, today I met a girl I like.

”I’m not sure if it’s me you’re referring to, is it? We happened to have lunch together today...”

- ”Even though she rejected me before, I can’t help liking her,” Javier added.

Looking at the new message sent, Micaela sighed in relief. She hadn’t rejected him, so it must not be her, maybe it was a girl he met when he was abroad.

-I’ve come back this time for her too, do you think I have a chance?

”How did you know?”

After thinking about it, he answered kindly:

-There is definitely hope for the effort.

Javier seemed to perk up and sent a string of laughing emojis before saying.

-I think so, thank you.

-You’re welcome and thanks for taking me to dinner today, let me invite you sometime.

-My pleasure. Get faster updates on NovelCEO.

After hanging up the phone and moving on to add Ernesto’s WhatsApp as she received the call from him.

She thought that man was from Alba and that it was not a good idea for her to talk to him on the phone in private, but thinking that she also had something to tell him, she picked up the phone right away.

Ernesto asked her:

-Why did you send me a phone number? It’s an old man’s.

”So you just called him?”

-You like Alba, don’t you?

-Who would like that woman, I’m not mentally ill?

-Oh, then I misunderstood, I thought you liked Alba and would definitely help her when she was bullied?

”Who dares to bully her?”

-Tell me clearly, what happened?

Micaela heard the anxiety and uneasiness in Ernesto’s tone, but said:

-Nothing, it’s fine. Since you don’t like Alba, it has nothing to do with you. Goodbye.

-Micaela, tell me, please!

Micaela couldn’t help laughing when she heard that.

Ernesto finally said:

-I like her, but she doesn’t like me. Don’t tell her...

-Why? -Micaela was a little confused and asked.

-Our relationship is not like yours and Carlos’! She doesn’t like me so easily.

Micaela thought about her experience with Carlos.

The second time they met Carlos told her to let her stay with him, although she refused, but the rented house is still arranged by him, now she directly didn’t have to pay the rent.... The source of this chapter is novelceo dot com.

Micaela shook her head and didn’t think about it. Ernesto was right. Since Alba and Ernesto had a bad impression when they first met, it was harder for their relationship to progress....

Thinking that she had just encouraged Javier to boldly go for the girl he liked, Micaela said:

-Then you should make an effort as well....

However, Ernesto answered her:

-If he finds out, what if we can’t even be friends? I’m afraid of doing it wrong.

Micaela was a bit shocked, she didn’t expect this man to have such a delicate mind.

”Afraid of loss, so stand by his side on behalf of his friend?”

Micaela was touched by Ernesto’s words....

-Well, tell me quickly, who bullied her?

Micaela then described to him what had happened to Alba.

-The number they just sent you is that person’s number.

-Okay, I got it, leave it to me.

-What’s on my mind, don’t talk to her,” Ernesto went on to say.

-I know, don’t be hasty,” Micaela answered him.

-Do you think I have a chance? -Ernesto asked her.

Micaela smiled.

”What was wrong with Ernesto and Javier today, they were both asking her the same question?”

But this time she answered more cautiously:

-You must be faithful to Alba and there is hope if you try hard.

-And I also hope you can be together -Micaela added.

Just from Ernesto’s words before, she believed that he was sincere about Alba.

Micaela suddenly thought of Carlos and asked Ernesto:

-What is Carlos doing?
