Su Yujie made up his mind after hesitating for three seconds. “What you said makes sense, Sister Shan! Please wait for me here. I’ll get someone to sort out all the agents’ documents so that you can pick the one you like!”

Xia Yishan wanted to say no, but she could not decline Su Yujie’s passion.

Very soon, an iPad with movies and games downloaded was presented before her, as well as a big pack of snacks. Su Yujie reminded her over and over again not to be shy with what was provided for her. There were too many agents under Asia Entertainment, so they needed time to sort out the documents at short notice.

Su Yujie returned to his seat and urgently messaged Su Jingting.

Su Yujie: “Brother, brother, brother, brother, brother”

Su Yujie: “This is urgent”

Su Yujie: “It’s about my Sister Shan!!! Reply to me right now!”

Su Jingting:”?”

Su Yujie inwardly mocked Su Jingting for putting his girl first: “Sister Shan said that she’s willing to sign under Asia Entertainment, under the premise that Ye Xin won’t represent her. I’m so stressed right now…”

Su Yujie: “What do I do about that? Please teach me, senpai-”

Su Jingting: “Do as she said.”

Su Yujie:”…”

He knew that his brother had the tendency to be his woman’s slave.

Twenty minutes later, a bunch of agents’ documents were presented in Su Yujie’s office. Each of them was highly detailed and included pictures, home addresses, past experiences, how many times they had been in a relationship, how many celebrities they represented, and so on.

Xia Yishan suspected that she would not be able to skim through all of them in a single day.

“Sister Shan, take your time to go through them.” Su Yujie gently handed her a document. “This is Hu Jie. She’s quite popular. Yi Hanxuan, whom she represents, is the lead in the famous Chinese New Year movie. She has tens of millions of fans…”

Xia Yishan took the document, glanced at it, and put it far away.

Su Yujie was sensitive enough to notice that she was not interested in Hu Jie at all, “What’s wrong, Sister Shan?”

Xia Yishan was not a person who would stir things up. She shook her head showing that she was alright, then she began flipping through the documents.

She finally found the document she was looking for as she was halfway through. It was Liang Qiaoen’s file.

Su Yujie spotted it. “Liang Qiaoen, is it? She seems to be pretty unfortunate. She represented three talents in total. Two of them got married and retired, while the most famous one, Jiang Chenchen, was poached by Huaqiao Entertainment…”

“Huaqiao Entertainment?” Xia Yishan raised her brows slightly. She knew Huaqiao Entertainment. Lin Group was so proud to have owned three percent of their shares. At the moment, Huaqiao Entertainment was almost on par with Asia Entertainment.

From what she knew, Huaqiao Entertainment had many capabilities and vast resources. Meanwhile, Asia Entertainment had the support of F-Group, which allowed them to stand as tall as any contender. The talents of both companies would fight whenever they met, while their fans would stir things up online. They were said to be as incompatible as water and fire.

‘Jiang Chenchen must be pretty capable if she was poached!’

Su Yujie sighed, “It’s unfortunate that we spent so many resources on her and Huaqiao Entertainment stole her away. God damn it…”

“I don’t think so.” Xia Yishan put down the document she held. “Jiang Chenchen is a sacrificial pawn.”

Su Yujie was curious. “Why do you say that?”

“I’ve watched the movies that Jiang Chenchen acted in when she was represented by Liang Qiaoen. In reality, it’s easy to notice that Liang Qiaoen is slowly reaching new heights, while the improvement in Jiang Chenchen’s acting skills was obvious. This is directly related to an agent’s careful planning. Although there was no enormous change within a short period, it’s fine as long as she improved bit by bit. However, time is the issue. She left just like that, which would mean that she’s flying before she’s done with her apprenticeship. She will definitely fall harder.. After all, not all agents can show one’s strong points and hide one’s wealmesses…”
