Pokemon: Reborn Rich Alternate Earth

Even a low-health opponent at the mid-stage Champion-level could be ended by its blade.

BOOM!

The posing Kartana suddenly heard a sound from behind. Turning its head, it saw Dragonite standing right in front of it, having blocked an incoming Steel Beam on its behalf.

Nodding its thanks to Dragonite, Kartanaʼs form flickered and vanished, off to harvest more low-health targets.

The chaotic battle raged on, and the Masterʼs thirty Champion-level Pokémon had all died once, so they no longer had the ability to revive.

However, because of this, their strength had been enhanced.

So as Milotic and Tyranitar worked together to take down three opponents who had revived for the second time, the Masterʼs Pokémon began to experience true death.

However, what Julian failed to notice was that as these three Pokémon died permanently, three faint wisps of black aura rose from their corpses.

Because the entire battlefield was filled with the shockwaves of combat, ninety percent of Julianʼs attention was focused on his own Pokémon, leaving him with no extra energy to observe anything else.

His Pokémon were in the same state. Thus, no one detected those three faint wisps of black aura.

After emerging, the three wisps of black aura burrowed into the nearest Metagross.

Originally, this Metagrossʼs strength was at the mid-stage Champion-level, but with the entry of those three black wisps, its power instantly surged to the peak of the Champion-level.

BOOM!!

Moltres, who was locked in a standoff with it, was sent flying by a single Meteor Mash, its body slamming heavily into the ground and creating a massive tremor.

Giga Impact!

The Metagross seized the opportunity and charged at the downed Moltres. Powerful airflow encased its entire body, and the immense force of the charge made the very space feel oppressively heavy.

Because Moltres had taken a direct Meteor Mash to the head, it was reeling with dizziness.

Although it sensed the threat coming from above, the dizziness left its body completely beyond its control.

And there was something else it couldnʼt understand. Just moments ago, this Metagross had been weaker than itself. So how had it suddenly become a peak Champion in an instant?

It had already died once—how could its strength still increase, and by so much?

”Aggron, block it!”

Julian currently had no Champion-level Pokémon guarding his side, but there were several peak Pseudo-Champions nearby.

Melmetal, Steelix, and Celebi—these three were at the Pseudo-Champion peak, and their strength was more than enough to handle an early-stage Champion, though Celebiʼs combat ability was admittedly quite questionable.

Moreover, Metagross possessed the move Teleport.

The Master also had several Metagross on her side, but none of hers could use Teleport. In fact, no Metagross was supposed to be able to learn Teleport at all.

That Julianʼs Metagross could do so was naturally thanks to the System, and the first time it had used Teleport in public, it had even caused quite a stir.

With Teleport available, as long as Steelix and Melmetal could stall the enemy for even a moment, Metagross would immediately return to provide support.

Facing the Metagross and its Giga Impact, Aggron had already planted itself in front of Moltres, having previously stacked multiple layers of Iron Defense and Harden on its body.

Both its arms thrust forward, pressing down directly against the Giga Impact, and the next second, an overwhelming impact force surged forth.

Even Aggronʼs colossal frame was driven backward relentlessly under that force, its legs carving deep furrows into the ground.

”How is there another peak Champion here?”

After sensing that this Metagrossʼs strength was actually at the peak of the Champion tier, Julian was instantly alarmed.

Among the Masterʼs thirty Pokémon, only ten were at the peak Champion-level, and those ten had each died once, becoming even stronger, but they still remained within the peak Champion boundary.

As for the other Pokémon, even after dying and reviving with enhanced strength, those at the late-stage Champion level had never broken through to the peak.

But now, with all ten original peak Champion Pokémon still present, there was suddenly an eleventh peak Champion Metagross here.

”This is bad.”

Julianʼs heart skipped a beat. His intuition told him that there was something he had overlooked—something that had directly led to the emergence of this additional peak Champion opponent.

”ROAR!”
