Pokemon: Reborn Rich Alternate Earth

Chapter 1008: Chapter 1225: Water Soul OrbChapter 1009: Chapter 1226: Terraflux Magma

On Bathers Lagoon, Julian sat atop Miloticʼs head, exploring the area.

The lakeʼs surface reflected Miloticʼs alluring form. As its tail swayed gently, it moved across the water like a graceful dragon—smooth, steady, and fast.

From time to time, it let out soft, pleasant sounds, its slender eyebrows gently swaying, clearly in a very good mood.

After all, this was the first time its trainer had ever ridden on it.

Milotic: ʼIt feels like my trainer likes me even more now.ʼ

Among Water-type Pokémon, Julian only had Milotic and Slowking. Slowkingʼs body clearly wasnʼt suitable for this, so naturally Milotic was the choice.

Of course, riding a Flying-type Pokémon would work just as well.

But riding Milotic suited the scenery better—and since Bathers Lagoon was so beautiful, Julian wanted to take his time enjoying it.

As Milotic swam ahead, a large group of Feebas followed behind, including one shiny Feebas that was entirely white.

Julian had no intention of catching it. Feebas were about as numerous as Magikarp, so with such massive populations, the chance of a shiny appearing was naturally higher.

Just like with Magikarp, even now, Pokémon researchers still hadnʼt fully figured out how Feebas evolved into Milotic.

So far, no decisive clues had been found regarding its evolution.

And in the wild, the number of Milotic was far lower than that of Gyarados.

This showed that Feebasʼs evolution conditions were even harsher than those of Magikarp.

As for Magikarp evolving into Gyarados, researchers had at least produced one research finding: anger.

By harnessing the power of rage, Magikarp had a small chance of evolving into Gyarados.

Of course, how to make a Magikarp ”properly” angry was another challenge entirely.

After all, you couldnʼt just beat or torture it to provoke anger—because if it really evolved into Gyarados that way, the first thing it would probably do was kill you.

Julian spent ten points in the System Shop to buy a bag of fish food.

From time to time, he scattered some, attracting a swarm of Feebas competing for it.

”This little guy is pretty strong.”

Julian noticed that the white Feebas managed to push aside many others and grab the most food, which surprised him slightly.

After all, shiny Pokémon were usually not accepted by their peers, so most of them were physically weaker than normal individuals, and many even died young.

But this shiny Feebas was different—its physical strength actually surpassed that of ordinary Feebas.

”Milo~”

Milotic let out a soft cry, and with a slight flick of its tail, it instantly created a large wave that sent all the Feebas behind it flying—especially that white one, which was knocked the farthest away.

”Youʼve started acting like Arcanine now too, huh?”

Julian chuckled and patted Miloticʼs head when he saw this.

Clearly, it was jealous—that was why it had smacked the Feebas away. Especially that white Feebas, which had been directly targeted.

Miloticʼs face flushed slightly.

But when it thought about how its trainer was famously a bit of a playboy who liked new things, it worried—what if he suddenly decided to capture that white Feebas?

If that little thing evolved, wouldnʼt it become a serious competitor?

Milotic was already stunningly beautiful—but if it were a shiny Milotic, wouldnʼt its charm be off the charts.

Although Milotic was confident it was the most beautiful in the world, it still didnʼt want an extra competitor.

Bathers Lagoon wasnʼt very large, and Julian finished exploring it in three days, finding one sub-Ultimate Water-type treasure.

Naturally, he gave it to Milotic.

On the fourth day, Julian arrived at Tranquility Cove.

Bathers Lagoon had been formed by seawater from Tranquility Cove passing through a sandbar.

Tranquility Cove itself was a part of the ocean within this Primal Secret Realm.

It took Julian nearly half a month to fully explore Tranquility Cove, where he found one Water-type Ultimate treasure and three Water-type sub-Ultimate treasures.

[Water Soul Orb: Carrying this orb increases the area of rainfall by 50%, and increases rainfall intensity by 30%. Under equal conditions, weather effects created by the user are extremely difficult to override.]

This Water-type Ultimate treasure wasnʼt something to be consumed—it was a held item.

Many Pokémon possessed weather-based moves that could alter the weather of their surroundings.
