Note: After absorbing the Ultimate Fighting-type treasure—Spirit of Combat, its physical attributes have been enhanced by 2x to 4x across the board.

Note: Having used the Ultimate Fighting-type treasure, Heartʼs Tear, the critical hit rate has increased by 30%, and the chance of avoiding critical hits has also increased by 30%. Accuracy of all moves increased by 10%.

Note: Used Burst Seed to enhance Fighting-type moves by 200%, consuming a large amount of stamina and entering a Burst State. The duration depends on remaining stamina until exhaustion. If activated forcibly when stamina is depleted, it greatly depletes inner energy reserves. Insufficient reserves may lead to complete destruction of the foundation.

This was Lucarioʼs current status.

If this World-class treasure was used, then after Lucario activates the Burst State, its Fighting-type movesʼ power would temporarily increase by 250%, and its critical-hit rate would rise to 50%.

The temporary increase in Fighting-type movesʼ power was due to the Burst State, so it could be set aside for now.

But if Julian later obtained a treasure that permanently boosted Fighting-type movesʼ power by even 10%, and paired it with this World-class treasure, then Lucarioʼs Fighting-type movesʼ power would increase by at least 60%.

As for the critical-hit rate—50%—that would mean if Lucario landed a hit, there was a 50% chance that it would strike a vital spot.

And regardless of whether it was a vital area or not, once the critical-hit rate was triggered, even non-vital spots would become vital.

A 50% chance… that really was terrifying.

What was a critical hit? It meant that even at full health, a single strike could reduce you to half or near-zero health.

It was like getting randomly stabbed in the kidney or a major artery.

This World-class treasure also allowed Lucario to learn all Fighting-type moves, expanding its movepool—it could even learn exclusive moves of other Pokémon, like Sirfetchʼdʼs Meteor Assault.

Not only was that move powerful—it also looked extremely cool.

However, learning the move wouldnʼt be automatic. It would require a Technical Machine (TM) or direct instructions from a Sirfetchʼd. Only then could it be mastered.

Pop!

Julian released Lucario.

”Here.”

He handed the World-class treasure in his hand to Lucario.

”Itʼs time for you to become a Champion.”

Back when he had seen Lucario reach peak Pseudo-Champion, Julian had already thought that it shouldnʼt take long for it to become a Champion.

Little did he expect the opportunity to come so swiftly—a World-class Fighting-type treasure, practically served on a silver platter by fate itself.

Just like Dragonite, becoming a Champion through a World-class treasure would deepen Lucarioʼs foundation and potential.

”Luca!”

Lucario nodded. The energy within the orb in front of it was already very restrained, yet its body was crying out relentlessly—Eat it, consume it.

This was a craving emanating from its very being.

After swallowing the orb, Lucario felt an overwhelming drowsiness wash over it. Despite its strong willpower, it couldnʼt resist the urge. Its eyelids grew heavy, its body swayed unsteadily, and the last thing it saw through the haze was Julian walking toward it.

Just as it was about to collapse, it was caught by Julian.

”Sleep now. When you wake up, youʼll already be a Champion.”

With that, he recalled Lucario into its Poké Ball.

For many Pokémon, major breakthroughs or healing of serious injuries often required deep sleep.

Dragoniteʼs ascension to the Champion tier was like this, and now Lucarioʼs breakthrough would follow the same pattern.

”So envious… Sure enough, a Pokémon like me really doesnʼt deserve World-class treasures, huh?” Celebi draped itself over Julianʼs head, its tone dripping with sarcasm.

ʼYou really donʼt.ʼ

”Good that you know,” Julian replied flatly.

Those words made Celebiʼs face stiffen instantly. ʼI was just saying—how could you actually agree?!ʼ Annoyed, it started tugging at Julianʼs hair with its tiny hands.

Though it didnʼt dare pull too hard, or Julian would spank it.
