If simplifying complex problems, the truth about whether Copernicus is dead, at its core, is about my own safety and the safety of the Space-Time Particle.

“No.”

Lin Xian shook his head:

“Actually, to simplify it further, it’s purely about my own safety.”

“After all, I’m worried about Copernicus stealing the Space-Time Particle because I’m afraid he will send a Time-Space Assassin from the future back to 2024 to kill me.”

The thought process became clearer.

He stopped spinning the pen, pulled a sheet from the printer, and swiftly wrote down three questions:

1, To ask again, what exactly is the time of my death.

2, To ask, whether the Space-Time Particle in my possession could still be stolen by others.

3, Who is the next mathematician to be maliciously murdered at 00:42.”

These were the three questions Lin Xian had devised.

They seemed unrelated to Copernicus, but in reality, they all pointed towards him; according to Einstein’s answer, it would verify whether Copernicus was truly dead.

However…

Lin Xian tapped the pen on the first question, frowning.

“It seems this question isn’t very useful; even if Einstein gives me another precise date, it doesn’t yield any key information.”

“No matter whether the date is distant or soon, it can’t verify whether the murderer is Copernicus. It could be an accident, illness, natural death… In a word, according to Einstein’s answer, it can’t determine whether Copernicus is dead, so let’s discard this question.”

Saying this, Lin Xian slid the pen and crossed out the first question.
