2. The Entangled State of Time-Space Particle used by Number 17 is the very same one in Liu Feng’s laboratory. Though it has not yet recovered its energy, at some future point, this Space-Time Particle regains its energy and is eventually stolen by Copernicus and used on Number 17.

There could only be these two possibilities.

Considering the rarity and preciousness of the Entangled State of Time-Space Particle…

Lin Xian feels that such an item couldn’t be commonplace; it might even be the only one in human history.

Therefore.

The most likely scenario is the second one: in the end, he and Liu Feng failed to secure the Entangled State of Time-Space Particle, which after recharging, was stolen by Copernicus.

Alas.

Thinking of this, Lin Xian clenched his teeth and sighed.

The Entangled State of Time-Space Particle is really a curse!

No wonder Jask, knowing he couldn’t keep it, simply flipped the table and destroyed it.

Looking at it now.

It was indeed a smart move.

Since it could not be kept and would eventually be stolen, why not just destroy it altogether so that no one could use it.

But then again.

Lin Xian and Jask had overlooked one thing…

That is, Space-Time Particles can indeed recharge!

Which leads to the conclusion.

Even an energy-drained, corpse-like Entangled State of Time-Space Particle is still very valuable.

Jask definitely didn’t know this.

If he had known this setup from the beginning, he would either not have given the corpse of the Entangled State of Time-Space Particle to himself; or, he would have gone all out to destroy it more thoroughly, or even thrown it into outer space to keep it completely out of reach from Copernicus.
