Chapter 932: Chapter 42: The Real Culprit on July 7th (Extra for the Silver Alliance patron loading7!)

The Grizzly Tribe was located due north of the Bobcat Tribe.

But…

Exactly where, how far, and how far north remained unclear to everyone in the armored vehicle.

Lin Xian was an outsider.

The Blue-Eyed Girl had only awoken an hour ago.

It was only Big Face Cat and Gao Wen who had overheard while digging in the deep pit and learned the knowledge point that the Grizzly Tribe was due north of the Bobcat Tribe… Beyond that, they knew nothing.

“We forgot to keep a hostage.”

Lin Xian looked around the vast wilderness with some regret:

“Now, without a map or signposts and roads, merely having the direction due north, we simply cannot find the Grizzly Tribe’s location.”

“We were too busy dealing with those Supervisors and foremen, we really should have kept one alive. They were always fighting with people from the Grizzly Tribe, they definitely know the exact location of the Grizzly Tribe.”

Indeed.

Both battle and life require experience.

Thinking about it now as well.

Why kill so quickly?

When you’re a stranger in a strange land, keeping a hostage is better than anything.

It’s just that I lacked the experience of post-apocalyptic combat, so I was negligent for a moment.

No choice.

We can only look for other ways.

He turned his head and looked at Gao Wen, who was sitting in the back with the Blue-Eyed Girl:

“You have a better memory than Big Face Cat, and you hear more on a daily basis. Besides the information that ‘the Grizzly Tribe is located at the Bobcat Tribe’, do you have any other intelligence about the Grizzly Tribe?”

“Driving aimlessly north isn’t a solution, the concept of north is very broad, we might drive all night and still not find the Grizzly Tribe’s location.”

“Tell us everything you know about the Grizzly Tribe, let’s pool our thoughts and see if we can find any clues.”

Gao Wen nodded.

He began to explain in detail:

“All the intelligence I know comes from the conversations of those Supervisors and foremen. They mentioned that the Grizzly Tribe was originally a small tribe, living off the mountain at the foot of the mountain.”

“Later, a bigger tribe attacked them, drove them away, and that’s why they moved to their current location, establishing a stronghold by a large river, starting to farm and fish for a living.”

“But… the tribe from the mountains, didn’t know the risks of living by the big river, the river has strong currents and often floods, submerging the surrounding riverbanks. The Grizzly Tribe also suffered a lot, encountering floods many times.”

“Later, just a few years ago, part of the riverbed that had been eroded over a long time collapsed, and the people of the Grizzly Tribe started digging downward, and then they discovered an underground structure, which upon opening, turned out to be a machine room built hundreds of years ago.”

“The machines inside were all in very good condition, seemingly built for long-term preservation. There was a computer inside that could speak and think, just like a human! Its name was [Turing]… It was through the battle with the Grizzly Tribe that the Bobcat Tribe learned of Turing’s existence, so they wanted to excavate their own Turing.”

“Actually, many tribes around the world have Turing Computers; the Porcupine Tribe to the east is the same, having dug up their Turing Computer a long time ago, so the Porcupine Tribe is a bit more advanced. But the Porcupine Tribe is mainly at war with tribes farther east all year round, so they don’t focus much on the Bobcat Tribe and the Grizzly Tribe.”

“I’ll continue about the Grizzly Tribe… After they discovered the Turing Computer, they worshiped it like a deity. Turing taught them how to build dikes, change the course of rivers, use water resources, purify water, etc. In short, the Turing Computer taught the Grizzly Tribe a lot of things. After agriculture, they also developed animal husbandry, and then industry. The Grizzly Tribe rapidly developed under Turing’s guidance.”

“The likes of handguns and armored vehicles were all plundered by the Bobcat Tribe from the Grizzly Tribe. If it weren’t for their population advantage of over ten-fold crushing the Grizzly Tribe, the Bobcat Tribe wouldn’t stand a chance in their battles.”
