Atypical love: the interweaving of destiny

In fact, Xu Zijin didn’t forget all that had happened in that remote village. As time went on, she remembered what she had done under the control of the aphrodisiacs.

She recollected that Fu Chen had come in time and saved her from being raped, and afterwards, she had taken the initiative to seduce him and they two had made love.

After that night, Fu Chen didn’t mention it. So she pretended to know nothing about it.

However, she knew that their relationship had changed. Although she couldn’t say what the difference was, she had a feeling of certainty.

It had never occurred to Xu Zijin that she would develop a close relationship with another man and even sleep with him. She once thought that she would be alone until death because she could no longer trust any man after being badly hurt by Fu Sinian.

But Fu Chen was an exception. She felt a strong sense of kinship with him and couldn’t resist the pull of his charm.

She knew that it was not love. To her, Fu Chen was the savior and the closest person.

She trusted and depended on him, but it was nothing to do with love.

However, what had happened in his study last time was like a basin of cold water pouring down on her head and waking her up from the dream of self-deception. She realized that Fu Chen was a man with normal sexual desire.

Xu Zijin was not a fool. A man treated a woman very well either because he loved her deeply or because he had an ulterior motive.

She had nothing, so it was noticeable that he wanted her. This chapter was copied from novelcеo.com without permission.

Xu Zijin knew that she shouldn’t play deaf and dumb anymore.

She tossed and turned, unable to sleep. Soon she felt that the temperature of the man behind her was growing higher and higher.

A shiver of fear ran through her body, and she stiffened like a statue.

Fu Sinian realized that he got sexually aroused. He opened his eyes with a mixture of annoyance and guilt, shoved the quilt aside and was about to leave.

”Don’t go!” Xu Zijin immediately stopped her.

The sound of his heavy breathing resounded in the room. He said in a hoarse voice, ”Zijin, I don’t want to hurt you...”

”You’ve never hurt me.” Xu Zijin gave a wry smile. Except for her father, Fu Chen was the kindest man she had ever met. ”You always help and care for me. I know you have done much for me, but I used to pretend ignorance.”

Fu Sinian remained speechless.

Xu Zijin sat up and crossed her arms with her eyes unfocused, and murmured, ”Chen, have you ever loved someone deeply?”

He didn’t answer. Read the latest chapters at nov‌elceo.com.

Xu Zijin continued, ”I once loved a man so much that I did everything I could to please him. But what he did broke my heart. I once thought it couldn’t be worse. However, he went further and made my life a living hell. At that time, how I wished I could end my love for him by means of suicide!”

Fu Sinian went rigid. In the dim light, his face twisted into a complex expression.

It was the first time Xu Zijin mentioned Fu Sinian in front of ”Fu Chen”. At this point, Fu Sinian did not know whether he should be happy.

His heart started beating violently.

He felt uneasy and was at a loss for words. So he could only listen quietly to her.

Suddenly, Xu Zijin reached out and groped for his face. Although she was blind, she accurately put her hand on his cheek and then carefully felt his nose, his eyes, his lips...

”Sometimes I feel myself insane. You are certainly not Fu Sinian. But every time I touch your face, I have a feeling that you are Fu Sinian. It’s ridiculous. How can it be possible that you are him?”

”How can you be so certain that I’m not Fu Sinian?” Fu Sinian said in throaty voice, ”Maybe I am him.”

He knew that he shouldn’t confess his real identity to her. But he could stand no more as he was not reconciled to living in the shadow of Fu Chen.

Xu Zijin was, in fact, his lawfully wedded wife.
