Atypical love: the interweaving of destiny

Fu Chen’s heart skipped a beat. With a worried look, he quickly got out of the bed and wrapped Xu Zijin in a blanket.

Xu Zijin was too frightened to control her emotions when she was pulled into his arms. She began to scream hysterically.

”Get off me! Go away! Don’t touch me... Get away from me!! ”

Terrified, she struggled frantically, beating at his chest. Fu Chen didn’t stop her from hitting him. He held her tightly, rested his head on her shoulder and whispered in her ear, trying to comfort her, ”Don’t be afraid, Zijing. It’s me.”

A familiar harsh voice echoed in her ear. Xu Zijin slowly put down her hands and stopped crying. ”Fu... Fu Chen?” she whispered.

”Yes, it’s me. I’m here.” Fu Chen cupped her chin in the palm of his hand and gently wiped off the tears from her cheek. Her cries pierced his heart like a dagger. ”I’m sorry I failed to protect you. But don’t worry. I arrived at the shack before they could do you real harm.”

A huge weight was taken off Xu Zijin’s chest at the sound of his words. She suddenly burst out crying again. ””It’s all your fault... Why did you come so late? Why couldn’t you come earlier? I was so scared... How I wished I could die with dignity at that time...”

Fu Chen’s heart ached for her. He kissed her on the forehead and said decisively in a low voice, ”I promise you that I will never leave you alone. It’s over and everything’s fine now. I’ll never let anyone hurt you again.”

She kept weeping, losing control. On the plane back to their city, she curled up in his arms like an insecure child seeking for his protection.

What had happened to her in the village was the most horrendous experience of her life. She was now in a state of severe shock and trusted only Fu Chen who had saved her from the darkness and despair.

Only he could give her a sense of security. So, on the way home she followed closely after him every place he went. If she had supernatural powers, she would transform herself into a pendant and hang around his neck. Enjoying the story? Read on at nоvelceo.com.

She had a lingering fear. The nightmarish memories of the village, gave her chills.

She felt as though there was a monster hidden in the darkness, waiting in the wings to drag her into the abyss of suffering.

She was a useless woman. She had been unable to escape the cruelties of destiny. She even couldn’t end her miserable life by death.

These days she was tortured by nightmares. Only in his arms could she go to sleep peacefully.

However, it was a torment to Fu Sinian.

He couldn’t stop Fu Chen from taking over his body. Every time he woke up and saw Xu Zijin laying in his arms and wrapping her arms tightly around him as if he was her most trusted man, he felt as if a knife pierced through his heart.

No man could bear to hear his beloved woman call another man’s name in his arms.

Like a poisonous snake, jealousy gnawed at his heart. He almost wanted to kill Fu Chen, but his instinct kept telling him that he couldn’t do that. He even had to force himself to play the role of Fu Chen.

Because Xu Zijin needed Fu Chen. New chapters come out on nоvelceo.com first.

She fell in love with Fu Chen who had never hurt her. Fu Sinian had always brought pain and suffering to her, so she no longer loved him.

When the rising sun cast a golden glow over the city, Fu Sinian woke up from his sleep. He lowered his head and stared at the woman in his arms. She was sleeping soundly. A sharp pain shot through his heart. He knitted his brows, with his dark eyes full of malice and insidious feelings.

Although he clasped his beloved woman in his arms, he felt an aching void in his heart.

Fu Sinian tried his best to hold back his jealousy and anger, and gently laid Xu Zijin’s head on the pillow. Then he lifted the quilt, got out of bed and went to the study.

There was a note on the writing desk. The writing on it was cramped but scrupulously neat. Obviously, it was written down by Fu Chen.

As usual, Fu Chen told Fu Sinian what had happened between him and Xu Zijin by the note and reminded Fu Sinian what to do next. In order to take good care of Xu Zijin, Fu Chen took everything into consideration. He even showed great magnanimity towards his rival and told Fu Sinian everything about Xu Zijin.

However, Fu Chen’s thoughtfulness was a great humiliation to Fu Sinian. Tormented by jealousy, he was no longer the lofty, omnipotent Fu Sinian of old days.
