I am not going to let him take my pride from me, or snatch away my dreams, he is worse than I have ever thought! He is still a chauvinistic bastard and I will in no chance want him to control my life.

So I did what my heart told me to do! I didn’t let him ruin my pride with his filthy hands instead I look over to the crowd, they all were busy enjoying the event, this is the right time!

There was a passage on the backside, it’s scary to go there because that place was empty as hell with no other glistening things, however, I had to run away from here right now before his father decides to do something extravagant with my life.

I, Ashley Brooke, clutched my dress in my hands and ran away to save my life while ignoring every outcome of this event.

I will do anything to make my life run, I will become a servant in other houses, but I am not going to work in his company, or better to be called I am not going to be his puppet at any cost. These all things have betrayed and affected my life immensely,

First of all, he kissed out of my consent ahead of everyone when his father was going to declare that he is going to marry.

Of course, he knew there will be paparazzi to capture every moment of his existence. Still, he tried to demolish my dignity with his lurking affection.

And now? His father wants him to show me over the media so that he can break my heart? In front of the whole city to declare a status that how his son, a billionaire dated a broke girl, still got nothing in return.

No, this isn’t just going to break my image, it will break my soul too!

Every other man will see me a fucking gold digger with nothing in the mind!

The road on the backside was dark and empty, my legs were wobbly, as I am going down, every moment of my living, I am going down with whatever I had in my mind. Tears started spilling into my eyes, and if that was not enough I heard the sound of thunder made my heart almost jump over to the cloud.

Rain, with its velvety touch, started pouring on the ground making my vision more fragile to the ground,

There was no sight of a taxi or anything, I was still clucking the hem of my dress to my hands, my legs were hurting due to the weightage of the heels I was wearing, I took them out and ran barefooted on the ground until I saw the door of my house.

It was looking like a haunted place with dim light and no existence of living, not at all.

Something is strange, something is not appropriate as this world with this devastating atmosphere was telling me a crime is about to happen.

I clutched my dress, even more, the dress which was dripping with water, the dress that has lost its shine and fame, the dress which is nothing but a piece of old and rotten cloth now just like my life.

I came closer and knocked on the door. I waited for a few minutes then repeated the same cycle but got no result in the process of making. Get faster updates on nоvelceo.com.

”Mother?” I mumbled underneath my breath. My heart was thumping in my chest, there was thunder in my eyes and my chest too.

When I didn’t receive any response from anywhere I pushed it hard, pushed it to all the corners so that I could go inside and look at her.

Because I was afraid of this utter feeling I was getting in, extremely infatuated with this atmosphere.

The door flew open and there was no sign of her. I searched everywhere but she was missing until I went to the kitchen and found her fainted on the floor.

Her lifeless figure was there in her most vulnerable state and my whole body was shaking, something strange and extraordinary was about to happen to my existence. I tried to get her up and got no response, at that moment I felt so alone and empty in this world, my mother is lying on the floor and I had nothing with me to reach out to her, I took out my cell phone and dialled the ambulance number.

I carried her into my arms and thought about my vengeful life, there is nothing precious in living like this.

The ambulance arrived in time, and everything became a blur then.

”Ms? Are you with that woman? ”

I felt a thud on my shoulder and a squeezing light came into my existence making me almost blind.

”Yes! Is she okay? Where is she?”

I had no idea what was happening all I could see and remember was my mother’s pale face that had no clue of living.

I wanted to reach out to her, to care for her
