Ye Muyu went to find a small spoon. She did not expect Chu Heng to be so good at cooking. Basically, he did everything she told him to do.

“Yes, we’ll leave tomorrow. We’ll go to Rong County.”

“The county is selling sour plum juice now. Were you the one who told everyone the recipe?” Chu Heng had guessed that this might be the case, but he had never asked, so he naturally would not say it so easily. For some reason, he had always believed her in his heart.

Ye Muyu did not hide it anymore. “That’s right. I found some families who were in a hurry for money and taught them how to make sour plum juice. Now, not only Li County has this, but the neighboring county also has it.”

“I’ve already written down the recipe for the sour plum juice and taught Chunqin how to make it.”

“Now, if everyone wants to sell the sour plum juice, they need to collect plums. Those who have plum trees can sell them for a sum of money. It’s not a lot, but it’s something.” After all, the plums in the county were basically wasted in the past. Now that they could be used to eat and drink, it was basically recycling waste.

“You did well.” Chu Heng was pleasantly surprised.

“Actually, I have good news for you,” Ye Muyu said with a smile.

Chu Heng looked at her with a burning gaze.

Ye Muyu did not want to delay any longer. She smiled and said, “The watermelons in the village in my hometown have been planted. I’ve asked Ah Xing to send a ship of them over. I wonder if they’ve arrived yet.”

They had been in Li County for more than a month, and now it was time to eat watermelons. With Yuzhou’s spending power, they would definitely make a profit easily.

“Watermelon… Is it an overseas breed?” Chu Heng asked.

“Yes, you were the one who found the seed for me back then.” Ye Muyu took a sip of the sour plum soup and ran to extinguish the fire on the stove. “That’s enough. You don’t have to stir it anymore. When it’s cold, it’ll be ready.”

“I’m telling you about the watermelons because I need your help. I need you to send some watermelons to the rich families in Yuzhou in your name.”

“You want to promote watermelons?”

“No, no, we don’t need to deliberately promote it. Once the watermelons are shipped over, they will definitely sell well. I just want you to do me a favor.” Ye Muyu winked at him. “By the way, let everyone know that this thing is easy to sell. If Yuzhou can plant it on a large scale, the economy will definitely be boosted.”

“This is a great achievement, but I really don’t want the magistrate of Yuzhou to take all the credit.” Ye Muyu was very direct. After she finished speaking, she straightened her back and looked at him, as if waiting for his reaction.

“What?” Chu Heng was stunned for a moment. Then, he understood why she said that. “I have nothing to do with Lin Mianmian,” he said subconsciously.

“But she is now your concubine. If the Lin family develops better, won’t I be bullied to death in the future? I can’t help the enemy.” Ye Muyu looked very serious.

“Alright, I will inform Eunuch Ren about this matter first.”

“About Lin Mianmian, you… Don’t worry too much.” Chu Heng did not know why, but he reassured her.

Although Ye Muyu found it strange, she was more unhappy. She knew that the situation in Yuzhou had improved. Lin Zhizhou would definitely get some credit too. It was just a matter of how much.

She was indeed testing Chu Heng on purpose. She placed the opportunity in front of him and waited for him to choose. She only hoped that Chu Heng would not disappoint her, Ye Muyu thought to herself.

Chu Heng went to take a shower.

Ye Muyu and Chunqin poured the slightly cold sour plum juice into the wooden barrel.

Then, she pushed it out of the county government office and got someone to send it out.
