Your Majesty, I need to use the restroom

Pei Zhuang was sleepy in the bathing pool. It was the first time that she had realized that being chubby was not that useless.

No matter how chilly the water was, yet because she’s fat and combined with the heat inside her caused by the stew, she could even feel that the temperature of the water was rising!

“Darling, how’s the taste of that soup?”

Frightened by the sudden voice from behind, Pei Zhuang immediately put her head into the water.

With half of her head covered by water, bubbles came out of her mouth.

After a while when Pei Zhuang calmed herself down, she smiled at Gu Jinghong in embarrassment, her eyes blinking.

“What brings you here? I was thinking of your majesty just now. Is it because our minds are connected?”

Feeling somewhat uncomfortable about lying, she started to fiddle with her clothes and refused to get up.

Gu Jinghong looked Pei Zhuang up and down with interest before he opened his mouth slightly: “Darling, I just heard something interesting. You sent Lan’er somewhere outside the palace to purchase some special ingredients this afternoon. How about sharing your recipe for the nourishing stew with me?”

“Nice weather today, isn’t it?” This chapter was copied from novelceo . com without permission.

Pei Zhuang changed the subject and tried to come out of the bathing pool in a rush.

“I am done with bathing and feel too tired to serve your majesty now. Lan’er, help me with the bedtime routine!”

Gu Jinghong ignored her words and stepped into the pool, as if he did not feel the coldness of the water.

He suddenly pulled Pei Zhuang towards him, and wrapped his arms around her from behind.

He then slightly touched Pei’s ear and said huskily: “Darling, do you know what the outcome of playing with fire could be?”

“Your majesty! I feel tired, and I’m coughing, so I can’t serve you now! I might have come down with some kind of a contagious disease! Your majesty...”

At first, Pei Zhuang thought it would be no big deal to lure the emperor for her own benefit. After all, she had nothing to lose as a plump woman.

But when things like this did happen, she found that it was against her own will to do so.

Without mutual love, how long could she maintain such a relationship?

Not to mention that...he had already fallen in love with someone else.

At thought of this, Pei Zhuang became very quiet. Then Gu Jinghong, who was touching Pei stopped as well. Visit novelceo(.)com for the full chapter.

“Darling, if you are still feeling unwell, how about I summon Physician Zhang here for a check?”

He could feel the woman in his arms tremble slightly.

Usually, he was not into staff like having sex at all. Also because he was being poisoned, things like intimacy was not a necessity for him.

But this woman was the only one who had tugged at his heartstrings time and again.

When he was deep in thought, Pei Zhang abruptly got rid of Gu Jinghong. Gu was somewhat displeased with her act.

Realizing her improper conduct, she turned around and splashed some water on Gu Jinghong with a smile.

Looking at the watery splashes, Gu Jinghong could not help but laugh.

She was just a woman who was not right in the head because of the accident. Why bother care too much about her?
