Rebirth: Super Banking System

Chapter 205: Chapter 174: Acquisition Completed, Journey to the Province City (please subscribe!)”_1

Over the next few days, Tang Qing’s life returned to its usual calmness. His company’s businesses were being run by others, allowing him to enjoy school during the day, and practice shooting skills in the simulation training area at night.

However, the amount of bullets consumed each day had significantly reduced, dropping from tens of thousands initially to less than one thousand, and it was still decreasing. At first, Tang Qing was simply excited and curious, wanting to fire off rounds willy-nilly just to hear the noise.

As he shot more, he gradually shifted his focus from quantity to quality. He initially couldn’t help but continuously fire off rounds by holding down the trigger, however, he slowly turned to favor precise single shots.

Despite Tang Qing’s restraint, he managed to ruin several guns. He put these useless guns straight into the storage area of the command center, not wanting to crowd the warehouse in his mall. Little Two had told him that these guns could be repaired in the Research Area once it was unlocked.

Tang Qing was overjoyed when he heard this. It wasn’t the guns that made him happy, but the prospect of being able to repair broken equipment in the future. As his equipment became more advanced, the cost of replacing broken equipment would definitely be heartbreaking.

After practicing with rifles and pistols, Tang Qing began practicing sniper shots with two robots. The training area was able to simulate different environments, such as heavy rain, dense fog, and strong winds, to which Tang Qing thoroughly enjoyed. One time, he adjusted the fog to its maximum density, which instantly made him blind, leaving him completely baffled. Unless he brought his hands almost to his face, he could hardly see anything, leaving him questioning Little Two about whether such dense fog actually existed in the world.

Later, the shooting targets were gradually replaced by moving robotic targets. However, these robots were not the ones Little Two had exchanged; Tang Qing had neither the interest nor the financial strength for that. Moreover, he couldn’t bring himself to shoot real robots with flesh and blood. The targets were only humanoid cardboard cutouts that could move.

March 9.

The afternoon.

Tang Qing transferred one million RMB to Dou Jiao’s accounts to pay the remaining cost of purchasing the Jewelry Company. A contract was already prepared, ready for him to sign.

Despite receiving forty percent of the stocks of the Group company, Tang Qing wasn’t too excited. It was merely an exercise for Sky Eye and a bridge for his alliance with Liu Qian, there was nothing to be excited about, especially since it’s not profitable.

Indeed, the Jewelry Company was a Group company in its previous incarnation, with a full range of subsidiaries involved in various sectors such as jewelry, jade, antiques, processing, auction, and more, with a market value of over seven billion. However, it was burdened with a heavy debt and, due to its inability to repay its loans which were due soon, was eager to sell.

After deducting the brand value, channel value, and the original owner’s eagerness to sell, the company was priced at 550 million RMB. While it had suffered heavy losses, at least it was better than going bankrupt, otherwise, they wouldn’t have even gotten this amount.

Liu Qian contributed 150 million, while Tang Qing offered 100 million, and the remaining three billion was debt owed to the bank, which was taken over by Tang Qing and Liu Qian. However, the previous owner was desperate to sell because two billion of the debt was nearing its due date.

However, Tang Qing and Liu Qian did not need to come up with any more money in the future. The previous boss wasn’t powerful and banks were reluctant to lend more. But who was Liu Qian? He was a top client of several major banks in the province, a business tycoon, getting a loan extension was as easy as saying a word for him. So, in the future, without having to spend a penny from Tang Qing, the expansion and development of the Jewelry Company would directly rely on loans from the bank, thanks to Liu Qian.

”Uncle, Aunt, I need to make a trip to the Province City this afternoon, and I’ll return tomorrow evening.” Tang Qing said.
