Rebirth: Super Banking System

This was something his mentor from his past life had taught him. If he realized that he was delving too deep into a certain thought process and risked causing mental issues, he should stop immediately. It’s like people who blame society, complain about its unfairness, get angrier as they continue to think, become more depressed, and eventually darken their minds. The moment such feelings arise, it’s crucial to nip them in the bud, preventing them from spiraling out of control.

As soon as it was past midnight,

Tang Qing hurriedly began arbitrage transactions. Over an hour later, Tang Qing successfully accumulated over four hundred million in his account.

After using up all his currency exchanges, Tang Qing went straight to bed.

... ... ...

The next day

Early in the morning, Tang Qing and Lin Jiaxue were setting off for town to buy supplies for their Chinese New Year celebrations. Lin Jiaxue’s family had purchased theirs long ago.

The morning wind was still chilly. Lin Jiaxue sat behind Tang Qing on the motorcycle. He didn’t indulge in any sudden acceleration or deceleration games because Lin Jiaxue was already holding onto him tightly. They’ve done this many times before, except on extremely hot days. Even though Tang Qing was not allowed to grope her, Lin Jiaxue never rejected contact from other parts of his body, like embracing or holding onto Tang Qing’s arm.

Lin Jiaxue’s face pressed against Tang Qing’s back. Fearful of the wind chilling his beloved behind him. Tang Qing drove very slowly, almost no faster than walking. He felt the soft body against him slowly, finding it very heartwarming. With Lin Jiaxue by his side, he could abandon any troubles.

”Jiaxue? You are finally back, I’ve been waiting for you for a whole year.”

As Tang Qing was enjoying this warm moment, a frivolous voice sounded beside him, rather annoying. Tang Qing frowned and looked over, recognizing who it was by the sound of the voice alone --- it was Qin Kong.

Another fly buzzing around.

Only now did he understand why the protagonist in stories often encounters rivals for his love. It was because his girlfriend was too outstanding, and wherever she stood, there were likely many would-be suitors eager to make advances. How could there not be conflicts?

Upon hearing the voice, Lin Jiaxue also frowned and remained silent, turning her face to the side.

”Qin Kong, keep your distance.” Tang Qing said coldly. Qin Kong was about the same age as he was. His mother passed away early and the only relative in his family was his gambler father. Influenced by his father, he dropped out of school after primary school, and hung around in society without any proper occupation, attempting to act like a gang leader as depicted in the movies.

Harassing girls was a common occurrence for him. He had a long history of offenses. Tang Qing remembered that in the future, Qin Kong would have his leg broken for messing with the wrong girl essentially castrated when a family decided to settle the matter with money. When Tang Qing thought of this, he couldn’t hold back his disdain. Such a person deserved to be executed. Unexpectedly, Qin Kong would later get involved in drug trafficking and was eventually fed peanuts (a euphemism for being murdered).

”What business is it of yours who I talk to?” Qin Kong scoffed at Tang Qing.

”You’re disturbing me. In dealing with annoying flies like you, I usually swat them dead with one stroke. Looking at your size, which seems to have been hard to come by, I will spare you.” Tang Qing retorted straightforwardly. This was unlike his usual demeanor, but he made an exception for Qin Kong. When he thought of this person’s character, he simply couldn’t help it.

He was being generous for not kicking over his motorcycle.

Qin Kong turned out to be a distant relative from his mother’s side. He didn’t remember exactly how distant, but it was very, very distant. A sort of second aunt’s nephew’s mother-in-law’s brother’s somebody. Who knows how Qin Kong managed to weave this relationship. The fact that they both had the surname Qin was mere coincidence, and there was no blood relationship to his grandfather’s branch of the family. Normally, being somewhat related, he wouldn’t be so rude in his speech, but he could not tolerate Qin Kong’s intentions toward Lin Jiaxue.
