Rebirth: Super Banking System

Chapter 36: Chapter 34: First, 500,000 US Dollars (Seeking Recommendations!)_1

November 7th.

Sunday.

Tang Qing had been feeling uneasy for the past few days.

Firstly, he was nervous.

The task he was about to undertake was risky. If things went south, it could land him in big troubles. Secondly, he was a little excited. If he succeeded, it would yield considerable profit.

These days.

Whenever Tang Qing was worried about the legality of his actions, he would look at the balance of ten thousand in his personal account on the system information. This meager balance further strengthened his resolve.

Damn it.

He was so poor.

If he continued this way, his life would be quite miserable.

Magnanimous loans were pouring out from his hands.

Yet, his assets kept resetting to zero frequently. It made him feel unbalanced. The dividends from the restaurant business would not be a remedy, as they could not provide him any sense of security.

The overall situation was such that:

He was bloody poor and was struggling to make ends meet.

If the next time the system opened up an easily operable and lucrative currency, it would be fine. But if the currency turned out to be useless, he would be doomed. He might as well stick to his current plan.

Probe the path ahead.

If the system was not helpful in the end, he would not foolishly wait for two months.

Once he had the capital.

In two more months, he could try his luck with a few stocks from his memory. Otherwise, he might not even have a million in cash after two months. Then, how could he continue playing the game.

To be able to go out on Sunday.

Tang Qing started working frantically on his homework the night before.

Early the next day.

He sat at home waiting for a call from Zhang Dongqing.

His aunt asked him why, and he just said he was going out with a friend.

His older cousin, Qin Shiqi, was clamoring to come along, but her mother rebuffed her with a statement, ”You haven’t finished your homework.” She could only watch Tang Qing with resentment and kept complaining about him.

In the end, Tang Qing, who couldn’t bear it anymore, promised to bring her a gift.

Only then did Qin Shiqi back down.

She bounced back to her room happily.

At around nine in the morning.

After receiving a call from Zhang Dongqing, Tang Qing rushed outside to the agreed meeting point.

They decided to meet at the crossroads outside the neighborhood where Tang Qing’s uncle lived. This was to avoid any awkwardness in case his aunt saw them. His uncle wasn’t at home today, as per what Tang Qing’s aunt told him.

”The boss we are meeting this time is quite cunning. Be careful. Not that he would harbor ill intentions, but think twice before you act. Don’t let his words fluster you,” Zhang Dongqing advised.

”Thank you, Uncle Zhang. I’ll keep that in mind,” Tang Qing gratefully said.

Tang Qing took Zhang Dongqing’s words seriously.

In his last life, he had been a small fry.

Even in this life, this was his first time dealing with someone of this caliber. If it hadn’t been for the system backing him, he wouldn’t have had the confidence to talk to this person.

”Don’t be too nervous. Just be careful,” Zhang Dongqing said with a smile.

...

Twenty minutes later.

Zhang Dongqing arrived in the suburbs.

Looking at the vast mansions before his eyes, Tang Qing was surprised.

He had never been here before and had not paid attention to this area in his past life. Looking at the layout and environment now, he surmised that one couldn’t get a villa without spending millions. In a decade or so, it would cost at least ten million.

Realizing that Tang Qing was unfamiliar with the area,

Zhang Dongqing said,

”This is the real estate his company developed. Though not the largest, it’s the best in terms of greening. Moreover, since he planned to live here himself, the facilities are extraordinarily well-equipped.”

”Kindergarten, supermarket, golf course, swimming pool, the last time I came here, Liu Qian even took me to play golf. But I really don’t like this sport; it’s not fun at all. I’d rather play basketball.”

Tang Qing didn’t join in on the conversation.

He just quietly listened to Zhang Dongqing introduce everything along the way.

After rigorous checks,

The car was allowed into the villa area.

The greening inside was done extraordinarily well.
