Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3002: Chapter 3011: Why Is He So Jealous?

The rage in Baron Lawrence’s chest reached its peak, and he heard the string called reason in his mind snap completely. With a grim face, he crumpled the movie tickets in his hand and tossed them into the trash can, along with the popcorn that flew in after. Then, swiftly, he grabbed Enna Clark’s hand and pulled her to walk outside...

”Baron Lawrence, what are you doing? Weren’t you going to watch the movie? Where are you going now?” Enna Clark, being pulled along, stumbled as she followed his steps out.

The man, whose face was dark the entire time, had veins bulging on his forehead as he tried hard to suppress the rage that was about to burst. ”Not watching it anymore!”

Enna Clark stopped and held his hands, refusing to move.

Being held back, the man wanted to pull her away forcefully but feared hurting her. Despite being ablaze with fury, he suppressed his violent impulses, stopped with a grim face, and turned his head to look at her, his dark eagle eyes warning, ”Don’t say things I don’t want to hear anymore, especially not about wanting to go back to watch that movie!”

He feared that if he saw that poster again, he wouldn’t be able to resist throwing that man along with the poster into the trash! To him, crushing a star was as easy as crushing an ant. He didn’t want to do it, simply because he was afraid she’d be frightened if she found out afterward.

So, she’d better not provoke him again. If she provokes him again, he can’t guarantee he can maintain that last bit of reason and not do something to upset her.

Enna Clark had seen domineering and childish men, but never such domineering, childish, and possessive ones. She looked at him helplessly, holding him back, not letting him leave, ”Baron Lawrence, you misunderstood me. I wasn’t defending my idol just now...”

”That wasn’t defending?”

”...”

Okay, she was indeed defending her idol, but her defending and his understanding of defending another man were entirely different things.

”I didn’t mean it that way. My point is, I’m not like what you think.”

”What do you think I’m thinking?” He was now purely looking for trouble, his attitude vile, his handsome face grim.

Everything he was thinking was written on his face.

Enna Clark didn’t dare to hand him a mirror to let him see it himself, so she changed to a way he could understand more easily, ”What I’m saying is that I might like someone, but that someone wouldn’t like me back, you really don’t need to think so much, really.”

Shi-t!

The woman he liked, since when did other men disregard her!

Baron Lawrence’s expression turned more sinister, his Adam’s apple moved, ”If you want him permanently banned in the entertainment industry, just keep talking.”

Enna Clark, ”...”

She took a deep breath, switched to the last method, and simply bit down hard on the back of his hand.

After leaving teeth marks, she embarrassingly released her bite, looking at the stern-faced man who hadn’t even considered letting go. She met those deep eagle eyes and helplessly said, ”Baron Lawrence, we’re already married, and I even have a little bun in my belly now. Do you really have to be jealous over someone we don’t even know?”

”A man you don’t know, and you’re drooling over him?” The arrogant and handsome man wasn’t buying it at all.

Enna Clark twitched the corner of her mouth, retorted in annoyance, ”I wasn’t drooling!”

”Holden Blackwell is just a male star I like. I purely admire him, that’s all, nothing else, you really don’t need to be jealous. Everyone has one or two celebrities they appreciate, right? Just like you admire Hadrian Jani. I just purely admire him.”
