Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2989: Chapter 2998: Loves Both Sour and Spicy Foods

”Let me help too, three people can get it done faster.” Enna Clark rolled up her sleeves without an ounce of pretense.

Joanne Harrison quickly led her back to the living room sofa, pressing her to sit down, and said helplessly, ”Young Madam, you just rest here, leave the vegetable picking to me. I’ll call you once I’m done, I promise I’ll finish as quickly as possible.”

Enna Clark felt a bit embarrassed by her actions and hurriedly explained, ”That’s not what I meant...”

Joanne Harrison smiled brightly, chuckling, ”I know. Young Madam just wants to help us out, but since you’re pregnant now, both Mr. Harris and I hope you’ll take more rest. Otherwise, we’d be worried about you.”

”Alright then.” Enna Clark couldn’t refuse her, so she gave up.

Joanne Harrison sighed in relief and went into the kitchen.

In no time, she brewed a pot of black tea and served it in the study and Bobby’s room. Then she brewed a cup of honey water and placed it in front of Enna Clark, ”Young Madam, watch some TV for a while.”

”Okay.” Enna Clark picked up the remote and turned on the TV.

About half an hour later, Joanne Harrison called her in after getting the vegetables ready, and Enna Clark turned off the TV and went into the kitchen.

After a busy session, a table full of delicious and tempting dishes was ready. Enna Clark and Joanne Harrison carried the tableware and called everyone for dinner.

”Darling, it’s time to eat.”

”President Lawrence, dinner’s ready.”

Both the big and the small doors opened simultaneously, and they sat down at the dining table.

Bobby chose to sit near his favorite spicy beef dish, while Baron Lawrence seated himself near the lighter dishes. Enna Clark sat in between them, handing each a pair of chopsticks, ”Gigi is still sleeping, Joanne went to call her. Go ahead and try the taste first.”

Bobby was the first to grab chopsticks, heading straight for the spicy beef. He picked up a piece of beef and tasted it.

”How is it?” Enna Clark waited nervously for his feedback.

Bobby squinted his eyes, quickly finishing it and grabbing another piece without stopping, finally saying, ”It’s tasty.”

How to describe the cooking of his own woman, clearly it was mediocre. But somehow, even after eating dishes made by Michelin chefs, he still preferred his woman’s so-so cooking. It has a particularly homely flavor, much more genuine than those beautifully plated dishes in five-star hotels!

Baron Lawrence also tried the Borscht and, rare as it was, gave a compliment, ”Not bad.”

Receiving praise from these two picky eaters consecutively, Enna Clark happily picked up a spoon and tried some Borscht herself. The sweet-and-sour soup was especially appetizing, ”Hmm~ it turned out quite successful. Delicious~ eat more, next time I’ll learn some new dishes to cook for you.”

”I want to eat spicy ribs,” Bobby said first, as he continued eating.

Enna Clark put some vegetables on his plate, blinking her eyes, ”Okay.”

”What else?”

”Sweet and sour lotus root.” Baron Lawrence transferred all the spicy beef from her bowl to his, frowing as he said, ”You can’t eat too spicy!”

Enna Clark thought she could sneak some spicy food from Bobby’s plate, but her plan fell through, and she pouted in frustration, ”Yes, Mr. President.”

Seeing her sulky cheeks puff up, Baron Lawrence softened and gave her a piece of braised spare rib, ”You can eat a bit, but not too much spicy food.”

Ever since she got pregnant, she really loved spicy and sour food.

The housekeeper said sour for a son, spicy for a daughter, what does it mean when she likes both?
