Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2901: Chapter 2910: Hoping Old Master Drinks Less Coffee

The Housekeeper also disagreed with Old Master Lawrence drinking too much coffee, but having three cups of coffee a day was Old Master Lawrence’s habit for many years. As the Housekeeper, he needed to obey the master’s orders. Even if he knew it wasn’t great, it wasn’t his place to educate the master, as it went against the basic decorum of a Housekeeper.

What he couldn’t say, the Young Madam said just right. The Young Madam wasn’t a Housekeeper but family, and if it was the Young Madam, the Old Lord might just listen a little.

He stood there waiting for Old Master Lawrence’s decision.

At first, Old Master Lawrence frowned uncomfortably. His aura was inherently strong, and his frown could easily intimidate many people.

But Enna Clark didn’t change her tune, gazing at him with clear, bright eyes, ”Grandpa, black tea is actually quite good too. You can add milk and ginger to black tea to make milk tea. Many young people like it nowadays. Why don’t you give it a try? Who knows, you might come to like it too?”

Old Master Lawrence wasn’t interested in things that didn’t match noble manners or lacked high quality!

But hearing Enna Clark’s enthusiastic suggestion, for some reason, he couldn’t refuse her. He frowned, turned around, and instructed the Housekeeper anew, ”Forget it, make me a cup of black tea. Try adding some ginger...”

Enna Clark immediately, with smiling eyes beside him, added, ”And milk~ Milk tea tastes better with milk. The Housekeeper can look up methods online; there are lots of recipes online. Besides milk and ginger, you can also add red beans, green beans, glutinous rice balls, lotus seeds... there are lots and lots...”

There are indeed many ways to make milk tea.

Milk tea with glutinous rice balls is called a soup-style dessert.

The one with red beans and green beans is an Oriental-style dessert.

Depending on how lotus seeds are added, it can become milk tea or even a nourishing lotus seed milk stew.

The methods she suggested are all beneficial for older people’s health, like adding ice, which Enna Clark didn’t even mention.

The Housekeeper, who possessed some medical knowledge himself, knew right away what Enna Clark meant; she wanted him to make something nourishing for Old Master Lawrence, preferably something like the lotus seed milk stew. He immediately bent down and earnestly said, ”Yes, Young Madam. I will look into it.”

”Thank you.” Enna Clark knew the Housekeeper could understand her meaning, and thanked him with a smiling face.

”It’s my duty.” The Housekeeper finished speaking, straightened up, and kindly said, ”Young Madam, just stay here and chat with the Old Lord for a bit. I may need some time to finish. The Young Master took the little Miss to get the presents she wants to show the Old Lord. I’ve arranged for a Nurse to accompany them, so don’t worry, Young Madam. The Nurse will take good care of the Young Master and little Miss. Scott Harris just went over as well.”

”Hmm. I understand.” Being in Old Master Lawrence’s domain, she wasn’t at all concerned about Bobby and Gigi’s safety. She believed no one could try anything under the Old Master’s nose.

Not even Wesley had that capability!

With Bobby watching over Gigi, along with the Nurse and Scott Harris, she was even less worried.

After the Housekeeper reported to her, he discreetly bowed and left.

Suddenly, only Enna Clark and Old Master Lawrence were left in the living room.

This place was a Private Hospital, or to put it simply, it was actually Old Master Lawrence’s private nursing home. It was equipped with professional doctors and all kinds of world-class instruments, indistinguishable from an ordinary hospital. But architecturally, it was not like the high-rise buildings of ordinary hospitals; rather it consisted of white villas.
