Baron Lawrence withdrew his hand and looked at her with exceptional calm, ”No reason, just thought of it suddenly and wanted to touch. If there must be a reason...”

He drew out his tone all of a sudden and paused.

Enna’s heart skipped a beat nervously, ”What?”

The domineering man stared at her face, his thin lips touching it, ”Because you’re a tortoise, so I wanted to flick the tortoise’s belly to see if it’s as soft as the book says.”

”!!” Enna’s temples throbbed fiercely, chanting internally that her husband was her own choice, her own choice, restraining the urge to punch him.

”You are, slowpoke,” Baron Lawrence released her, sat up from the bed, grabbed the robe next to him and put it on.
