”What’s the matter?” Baron Lawrence didn’t bother with small talk. He was straightforward and blunt!

Oscar didn’t expect him to refuse outright without even considering. He frowned and asked, ”What do you mean? Do you think that illegitimate son can offer you more benefits than I can?”

”I don’t need him to bring benefits.” Baron interrupted him in a deep voice, coldly saying, ”I only need him to sever the cooperation between you and that man.”

Oscar squinted his eyes, ”...”

”The incident in Mauritius, did you think I’d let you off easily?” Baron clarified further.

Oscar wasn’t a fool; he understood what Baron meant, ”So, you’re saying those previous two times weren’t your revenge?”

When he returned from Mauritius, he first conspired with Emilia Goldsmith’s family to trip him up, causing the Oscar Group to lose a major deal.

Then teamed up with Edward Jackson, not only costing him several hundred millions in a big project, but nearly putting him behind bars.
