He didn’t rush to answer the phone. Instead, he first opened the car door, got out with his phone, and walked to the side.

Miranda’s eyes darted around quickly as she pretended to be scared, saying, ”President Lawrence, who on earth is following me? I haven’t offended anyone. What should I do now? Call the police?”

There’s no way Baron Lawrence would let her call the police. Wouldn’t calling the police scare them off?

Even though he was reluctant to see Miranda’s pretentious behavior again, he still said, ”Wait there, I’m coming over right now.”

”President Lawrence, you’re coming over?” Miranda was truly delighted this time.

Baron Lawrence, however, didn’t respond to her at all and hung up the phone mercilessly.

After putting down the phone, he furrowed his brows, planning to go back and tell Enna Clark to go home first.

”Are you going out?”
