In the bitter cold of winter, the whole family sat around the table, gathered around the hot pot, drinking strong liquor, and enjoying the warm atmosphere.

”What do you think of this Chu Changxing?” Cheng Su asked him.

”He isn’t particularly outstanding, nor does he have great ambitions, but he can settle down and live a stable life,” Qi Taiguo responded quite fairly.

This was exactly in line with Cheng Su’s view.

Chu Changxing did not have any remarkable traits, and the business lessons Cheng Su discussed with him were basically nothing noteworthy. He merely ran a shop to make a living, without any thoughts of large-scale expansion, having enough to eat and drink, living a plain life was enough.

But precisely because of this, Cheng Su felt that he and Qi Fenglian were quite a good match, because Qi Fenglian herself wasn’t particularly outstanding. If Chu Changxing was very capable and exceptional, could she keep up?

For a marriage to last, the best scenario is actually a couple being well-matched. If the man is too strong and the woman too weak, or vice versa, the distance between them would eventually widen greatly.
