Cheng Su grumbled a couple of times, also feeling tired, she lay down and went back to sleep.

The next day, while Cheng Su was feeding her son, she poked his little face, saying, ”Qi Xiaoqi, tell me honestly, are you really my son? Did you time travel here?”

Mother Cheng entered with a bowl of chicken soup and, seeing her daughter’s bullying actions, said, ”Hey, hey, what are you doing? Feeding him is one thing, but why are you poking his face?”

Caught red-handed, Cheng Su clicked her tongue and said, ”Mom, I’m his real mom. Can’t I poke him a little?”

”No way, my grandson’s skin is delicate, what if you ruin his pretty face? Don’t think I don’t know, you usually poke and pinch him too; I’ve seen it several times.” Mother Cheng looked at the child, made a couple of playful sounds, and teased him to smile.

Cheng Su felt a bit out of sorts but had no choice but to stop her mischievous actions, obediently resuming feeding the baby.
