”Oh, well I haven’t bought much groceries, might as well have a hot pot tonight, it’s a bit cold.” Although it’s March, the temperature was still low, especially after the snow melts leading to a spring chill, Cheng Su felt the air was still icy.

Ning Ge squinted at her, is your health still not well?

Cheng Su put down her bag and was about to get busy when she suddenly thought about the name list she saw. Conveniently, Ning Ge was around, so she walked over and sat down.

”Ning Ge, do you know Chiang Qing’s current situation?” She was still uncertain and wanted to ask.

”What happened? Why are you asking about her?” Ning Ge asked.

Qi Taiguo was also full of confusion.

”I just wanted to ask if she’s still a military doctor.” Cheng Su said.

Ning Ge frowned briefly and said, ”I’m not really sure, who cares about her?” In fact, he’s been busy investigating the truth from years ago and checking into the Loo Family’s business deals, so he hasn’t paid much attention to Chiang Qing herself.

”Why ask about her out of nowhere?” Qi Taiguo looked at Cheng Su with concern.

Cheng Su just laughed and said, ”Today I received the guest reception list for our restaurant’s city tender event later, and it included someone named Chiang Qing, Deputy Director of the Yanjing Economic Information Operations Office. I’m just curious whether it’s her or not. But then again, she’s a military doctor, how could she become a deputy director!”

”From Yanjing?” Ning Ge slightly sat upright, furrowed his eyebrows, and said, ”If it is, it’s not surprising. Think about it, Chiang Qing has a mental illness, and with such an illness, how could she continue being a military doctor? Aren’t they afraid she might suddenly relapse and prescribe wrong medication or give wrong injections to others?”

Cheng Su pursed her lips, that seems reasonable, she herself is a patient. Although it’s said to be cured, who knows if it will lurk, generally such people wouldn’t be allowed to be military doctors, right?

”Check it out!” Qi Taiguo straightforwardly instructed Ning Ge. No matter if it’s true or not, it’s always good to look into it to avoid any issues later on!

Ning Ge didn’t need his orders, he already had the notion in his mind when Cheng Su brought it up, so he picked up the phone.
