”So, how was it? What did they say?” Cheng Su leaned in to ask.

Qi Taiguo pinched the spot between his eyebrows and said, ”Auntie has gone to our place. Weixia caused that mess, and she doesn’t have the face to stay at home, so she’s temporarily staying with us.”

”Hmm?” Qi Taiguo sat up straight, asking, ”What do you mean by that?”

”Just last year, I saw the way Weixia looked at his sister-in-law was quite unusual. I just didn’t think too much about it, only felt he might have been sympathetic seeing his sister-in-law become widowed so young.” Cheng Su said, ”And your aunt, always saying a woman doesn’t serve a second husband, she scolded me on the spot when I mentioned remarriage to Liu Wenjing. Clearly, your aunt doesn’t allow or want Liu Wenjing to remarry. She thinks if she could persevere, so can Liu Wenjing, and that she can watch her son grow up this way!”
