The two registered for a gynecology appointment, and consulted an experienced professor for a diagnosis and various check-ups.

The diagnosis was as Cheng Su herself had suspected – coldness in the womb, which requires treatment, or it could impact pregnancy.

”Then please, doctor, prescribe some good medicine,” Qi Taiguo immediately said.

Cheng Su also nodded, saying, ”Money is not an issue.”

The doctor glanced at them and said, ”There’s no hurry, I will prescribe for you. They’ll be warming and replenishing medicines. Pay attention to your diet and avoid excessive cold, especially you young people who tend to eat cold food and wear shorts frequently...”

Cheng Su looked at Qi Taiguo sheepishly, who was listening intently and even asked what else to be cautious about and what was good to eat.

Her heart couldn’t help but feel warm; he was more concerned about her health than she was.

After seeing the doctor, Qi Taiguo had two sheets of paper in his hand, the prescription from the doctor and the precautions he noted down himself. She watched him carefully fold them and tuck them in his pocket with such a careful action that made Cheng Su feel incredibly reassured.

”The way to the pharmacy is quite far. The weather is cold, so don’t follow me back and forth. Just sit here for a while. I’ll get the medicine and meet you back, then we can head home,” Qi Taiguo advised Cheng Su, seating her on the long bench in the corridor.

Cheng Su smiled and nodded, ”Hurry back then.”

”Alright!” Qi Taiguo pulled her coat tighter and left quickly.

Watching his back, Cheng Su felt as sweet as if she’d eaten honey.
