Qi Fenglian went back to her hometown. Cheng Su, seeing that Shi Ling was added to the fast food restaurant as staff, temporarily promoted Xiaoying to cover Qi Fenglian’s position. If Cheng Su wasn’t around, Xiaoying would handle the money, and Shi Ling would take over selling food and such.

Aunt Cheng glared at him, looked over again, and saw mooncakes, candies, and some supplements, really quite fancy.

”Oh, what’s this?” Aunt Cheng took out a box of some kind of medicine.

Third Uncle Cheng glanced at it and said, ”I heard it’s cod liver oil, meant for the two kids. Said it’s good for the brain or something.”

Aunt Cheng was moved, ”The child is truly amazing! You used to see her as immature, but it turns out that after getting married, she’s become considerate and well-mannered.”

”Why bring that up? What’s wrong with being immature when she was a girl?” Third Uncle Cheng wasn’t bothered, pulling her close and saying, ”Dear, I’ve thought about it. Although there’s just one wall between us, the child treats our family like her own parents and siblings. We are true brothers with big brother, no difference, and there’s only Susu as a girl in the two families. We can’t have a daughter anymore, so I’ve been thinking of treating Susu like our own niece. In the future, big brother and them will be her parental home, and we’ll be her parental home too. The two children are her real brothers, and whatever happens, we’ll be there to support her.
