Destined Hearts

” so how is my lovely wife. I hope you guys aren’t stressing her with all the party and all that”

” see this man fa,what you are trying to say now is that she shouldn’t stress too much sai kace yar bill Gate(like bill gate’s daughter) . To tsaya kaji, yaran bill gate ma suna aiki a gidan uban su( let me tell you something, even bill gate children do work in their father’s house not to talk of your wife)

” kai kasan wannan( It’s only you that know that one). Whether bill gate children work or they don’t work all I know is that my lovely wife shouldn’t be stressed”

” you’re insane man. Anyways, are you already in Nigeria? ”

” we have few minutes before entering Nigeria. How is your madam? ” he asked

” she is fine” I tried making my voice subtle

I guess I failed miserably because he noticed it ” are you alright Amir?”

” Yes, of course I’m good. We will talk later when you land, goodbye” I handed up

Abubakar is like a brother to me than a in-law. We haven’t been in contact since forever. My dads birthday sure helped in reuniting with my lost relation who were also present for the party.

I blew out a breath and walk to the direction of our table. I watch how my parents were wrapped around each other dancing to the love song. I wish that was Ameera and I. I miss us, I miss every minute we shared together.

You still have time to mend everthing, a voice from my head said.

What time do I have? I don’t think I can forgive her for cheating but I can overlook the plan of a thing. I think we both need space and that is final.

” yaya Amir, yaya Amir...” hindatu shouted as she rush to me

”is it true that my husband called?” she asked breathlessly

I gave her a confused look, who told her?I’m sure abubakar said he wanted it to be a surprise so I asked her instead.

” who told you? ” I asked

She look at me like I was stupid ” were you not the one who asked Sadiya to call me? ”

Me? I didn’t

” I didn’t tell Sadiya to call you. Why would she lie about something like that? ” I’m confused now. Read the latest chapters at nov‌elceo.com.

What is wrong with sadiya. Maybe she heard my conversation on the phone and thought it dimmed for her to tell hindatu who now was happy to know whether her husband called or not.

” you mean she is lying then? ” she asked sad

” That question has two answer. Which is yes and no”

” yaya I don’t understand ”

” OK, lets put it this way.I didn’t tell or requested Sadiya to call you and the other answer which is yes is that your husband is few minutes close to Nigeria ”

She squealed out loud in happiness.” So it’s true then that he will soon land . I’m so happy yaya”

I smiled at her in surprise. I never knew hindatu could be this childish at the mention of her husband, she has always been this reserved lady who usually keeps to herself.

” I can see that you are”

” I have to give him a call. See ya” she said and then left.

That’s the power of love, it makes you do the unexpected . Will I be able to experience such thing again? Love

I walk towards the entrance door. I really need that some fresh air. But first I need to talk to Sadiya, what gave her the right to listen on my conversation. I check the area I was standing maybe I might see her. She wasn’t there. I decided to just go outside but the door open and sadiya came in

Just who I was looking for. She held my gaze

” sadiya, come here” she noticedmy stoned face and decided to come over without any complaints

” yes, yaya?”

” what gives you the right to listen on my conversation ” she swallowed

” i-i-i am sorry”

” Answer me ” I gritted ” tell me why you find the need to listen on my conversation and the worst part is that you went ahead to tell hindatu ”

” I swear yaya, I didn’t mean any harm. I just couldn’t hold my happiness for her which was why I told her, I’m sorry ” she was at the verge of crying.

I sighed loudly ” don’t do that next time” she nodded

” I’m sor...”

”SIR, SIR madam has been kidnapped ” my dad’s driver yelled out in worry as he rush towards me. Thank God we aren’t in the midst of people.

What madam ?

” what do you mean by that?” Sadiya asked confused

” your wife sir, ” he worriedly said to me

What?

” how did it happen, when? where? ” I asked frantically as I rushed outside. Sadiya and the driver also followed closely.

” sir, I saw a man carrying madam’s unconscious body inside a SUV car. I tried following the car but it zoom off quickly. I’m sorry sir” he explain worriedly

” it’s not your fault ”

We need to act fast

” Sadiya call Khalifa to give you his investigator friend’s number”
