I Get A Random New Occupation Every Week

Chapter 3709: Chapter 3700: People Like This Can’t Be Kept

”Drive you away?” Chen Yuying looked at Lin Yi and asked.

”This matter looks serious, but actually, your problem is not big, because I’m the one who operated everything. Even if there’s a sentencing, it’s me who will be sentenced, it has nothing to do with you. This way, I’ll disappear from the company, and you can continue to work at the company, it’s two birds with one stone.”

Lin Yi said with a smile:

”In future work, whether it’s taking you down or your sister, he can achieve a leap in class.”

”You wish!”

Chen Yuying’s face turned cold. ”I’m going back to fire him now!”

Lin Yi chuckled, ”Don’t get angry, it’s not worth it. Go back and find a document he’s handwritten, and you can quickly compare it, and with evidence, he will have to accept it.”

”These things don’t matter to me. The company is mine. Even if there’s no reason, I can fire anyone.”

”This matter is indeed not urgent. It can be done anytime.” Lin Yi said with a smile:

”But honestly, this person isn’t of much value. Even if this incident hadn’t happened, keeping him in the company wouldn’t be of much use.”

”Are you saying his intentions aren’t right?”

”That’s part of it, mainly his thoughts aren’t meticulous, lacks vision, and doesn’t think comprehensively.” Lin Yi said:

”If he stalls a bit longer, pretending to get along well with us, we wouldn’t immediately suspect him. And the handwritten report—what a lack of respect for modern forensic methods.”

”You seem quite knowledgeable about these things.”

”Ha, haven’t eaten pork but seen pigs run, right? That’s how it’s portrayed on TV.”

Chen Yuying didn’t continue the conversation.

Lin Yi is indeed highly capable. Although his education isn’t high, his talent is exceptional.

If given a good platform, he would certainly develop even further.

But he seems uninterested in these matters.

Even yesterday, offering him a hundred thousand bonus seemed to evoke no reaction.

Leaving through the door, the two of them took a taxi.

Lin Yi held his phone and sent Chen Yutong a message.

Telling her he couldn’t pick her up today and she should take a taxi back.

Although Chen Yutong loves to play, she’s also thoughtful.

It’s best not to tell her about this kind of thing.

Sitting in the back seat, Chen Yuying would occasionally glance at Lin Yi.

”Why are you looking at me?”

”What exactly are you doing? You even know the head of the bureau?”

”Benefit from my family, really I’m nothing.” Lin Yi said with a laugh.

”You’re bluffing me. I don’t believe that a powerful wealthy woman would marry a useless guy, no matter how good-looking you are.”

”I drive well; maybe that’s why.” Lin Yi said with a grin:

”Besides, that’s not the key point. You should think about how to deal with Xu Kai.”

”I really didn’t expect him to be like this. Just firing him feels too easy on him.”

”There’s no other choice. After all, he hasn’t committed a crime. You can only fire him.”

”Mm.”

Chen Yuying said no more, still pondering the solution.

Lin Yi was much more relaxed, not even bothering to think it through.

Someone like Xu Kai doesn’t even deserve his attention anymore.

...

A taxi stopped at the entrance of Hengchi Transport Company.

Chen Yutong got out of the car with her bag, just like usual, and entered the company.

Getting off the elevator, she greeted familiar employees.

Out of habit, Chen Yutong went to Chen Yuying’s office, finding her not there.

She wandered around the company and found Lin Yi was also not present.

”The car is still at the company; where have they gone? Did they get a room?”

Muttering to herself, Chen Yutong didn’t think much about it, planning to go to the meeting room to study.

Just as she left the office, Xu Kai came up to her.

”Tongtong, you’re back.”

Seeing Chen Yutong, Xu Kai greeted her enthusiastically.

Chen Yutong showed no pleasant expression, ”Where’s my sister?”

”This...”

Xu Kai acted as if he was in a difficult position, ”Something happened, and she went to be investigated.”

”Investigation?” Chen Yutong’s expression changed as she asked anxiously, ”What happened?”

”Didn’t we get a loan of ten million yesterday? But without following the proper procedures, the financial regulators found out, and they came to investigate.”

Hearing this news, Chen Yutong became even more panicked.

She also knew there were issues with the loan process, it was justified for them to come and arrest people.

”Is this serious? Will there be a sentence?”

”That’s possible.” Xu Kai said:
