The other people on the stage looked at each other but didn’t say much.

Bernard smiled and made a welcoming gesture with his hand, and everyone proceeded to walk out.

Upon reaching the second floor of the villa, Lin Yi chose a room at random and leaned against the window, observing the outside.

Lin Yi took out his phone and called Qiu Yuluo.

“How are things on your end?”

“I’m with Ning Che, and we’re keeping an eye on Zhou Fan. Just give the word, and we’re confident we can subdue him within five seconds.”

“Good, and keep a close watch on Bernard and Lambert’s sister, too. We can’t afford any problems during this phase.”

“Rest assured, nothing will go wrong,” Qiu Yuluo said.

“How are things on your end? I saw you guys get on a coach bus earlier, where did you go?”

“I’ve been taken to a mobile villa on the outskirts. I’ll send you the address soon,” Lin Yi said.

After hanging up with Qiu Yuluo, Lin Yi peeked out the window again but didn’t spot anything suspicious outside.

He didn’t plan to stay in the room, so he silently left and, while unnoticed, climbed out the window to hide in the trees outside the villa. He climbed up a tree and surveyed the entire villa from a God’s eye view.

He wouldn’t miss any movement.

Around 2 a.m., all the lights in the villa were turned off.
