The third step, Descending Spirit, requires everyone to open their eyes, with Chief Ritualist Xia Chuan placing silk on the table, then offering wine to the deity, followed by a kneeling ceremony. All members of the major and minor sects jointly perform the kneeling ritual with the Chief Ritualist.

The fourth step, Three Offerings, begins with Initial Offering where Chief Ritualist Xia Chuan offers wine to the deity. Secondary Offering by the Major Sect’s mother, alongside the Young Master and branch disciples, collectively offering wine to the deity. Final Offering where all sect leaders and heirs simultaneously offer wine to the deity.

The fifth step, Presenting the Feast, is about offering tributes.

The sixth step, Farewell Spirit, involves sending off the spirit, marking the nearing conclusion of the clan sacrifice.

The seventh step, Distribution, is the segment of distributing tributes.

This marks the fourth clan sacrifice of Great Xia, and most are familiar with the procedure already. Under Xia Chuan’s guidance, the first six steps proceeded swiftly.

Until the final step of Distribution was about to commence, Xia Chuan suddenly spoke.

”Hold on, this year’s distribution will be delayed!”
