The new soldiers crave stimulation, and the over four thousand prey brought back before dawn by the Six Armies was undoubtedly the best motivation for them, making them realize the vast benefits of joining the army.

It was an unexpected joy. Although the new army hadn’t yet been deployed in battle, the excitement from the prey showed signs of initially boosting morale.

As daylight grew, the soldiers returned to their quarters to rest, and the previously bustling Longshan Camp quickly became quiet.

Of course, this wasn’t unique to Longshan Camp; the entire outpost was similar.

There were already quite a few with Cold Resistance Level in Long Mountain. Especially now, with all but Longyuan of the Great Xia Ten Armies present, people were abundant during the day.

Yet, due to the Ice Abyss people’s habit over many years, many still maintained their original nocturnal schedule, even after reaching the Cold Resistance Level.

The military followed suit, with strict schedules that soldiers had to adhere to, allowing no violations.

Throughout the camp, aside from occasional patrols by Cold Resistance Level, only the five Cold Resistance Level guards remained at the east gate.

”With the Great Xia Ten Armies all in the Longshan Camp, what’s the point of guarding? Who would have the guts to storm in?”

”Heh, I’d actually love it if some fool tried.”

”Stop chatting nonsense. With the Lord and Lady present, if something goes wrong, we’ll be the ones to lose face in front of the Defender, and it won’t end well for us. Just two more hours, it’ll be over soon.”

There are over five thousand with Cold Resistance Level in Great Xia now. While that’s a lot, it doesn’t mean they’d be reduced to guarding the gates.
