445 Is It That You Don’t Have Any Real Power As the CEO

With that said, Shi Xu and Shi Xi were dragged into this mess.

Shi Xu replied, “Alright, I’ll go see Grandpa tomorrow morning.”

Shi Xi had a look of resistance as she thought to herself, ‘What kind of old man prioritizes sons over daughters?’

She would rather stay at home!

!!
But at that moment, she could only obediently nod her head. “Alright, Dad.”

She had no choice but to nod.

At night, Shi Xi took a shower and changed into her pajamas. She lay down and prepared to sleep.

There was a knock on the door.

Shi Xi opened her eyes.

There were only two soft knocks on the door. It was not Shi Xu.

So it was Ning Yu?

“Please come in.” Shi Xi struggled to sit up.

Ning Yu, who was wearing rabbit pajamas, twisted the door handle and entered Shi Xi’s room.

It had to be said that the cold and indifferent Ning Yu was wearing rabbit pajamas, there was really a kind of contrast and cuteness.

Shi Xi’s eyes curved as she asked with a smile, “Sister, why are you looking for me?”

Ning Yu said, “I’m going to visit Grandpa Shi tomorrow. I want to ask what he likes and what to send.”

The corner of Shi Xi’s mouth twitched slightly. “He probably likes antique vases or something like that.”

Anyway, she had broken one and Grandpa Shi had been thinking about it for many years.

“Antique vases?” Ning Yu nodded thoughtfully. “Thank you.”

After asking the question she wanted to ask, Ning Yu went out.

Shi Xi lay down.

Just as she closed her eyes, there was a knock on the door again.

It was Shi Xu.

Shi Xi got up helplessly and invited Shi Xu in. She asked, “It’s so late. What did Brother look for me for?”

“What did Ning Yu say to you just now?” Shi Xu asked curiously.

“She asked what Grandpa likes and I said antique vases.” Shi Xi looked at Shi Xu. “What do you want to ask?”

“I want to ask how you’ve been recently. Have you thought about going back to school to study?” Shi Xu sat down and looked like he wanted to talk for a long time.

Shi Xi counted with her fingers. “I’ve filmed a few movies in the past six months, went to a few variety shows, got a few endorsements, and earned a few million. It’s pretty good. I’ll take care of everything at school. I won’t be unable to graduate.”

Shi Xu asked, “Haven’t you thought about studying hard and helping out in the company after you graduate?”

Shi Xi hurriedly shook her head. “I have no interest in managing the company!”

Come to think of it, she wasn’t even part of the Shi family.

She didn’t want to get involved in the matter of earning family assets!

Shi Xu said, “Dad called me into the study just now and told me to let you and Ning Yu go to the company for an internship during the holidays.”

“Ning Yu can go. I have my own work plan,” Shi Xi said sincerely. “I only want to be a female celebrity, not a female CEO.”

“Even if you guys join the Shi Corporation, you should start as an employee.”

Shi Xu complained in his heart. He was the CEO! She could only be an employee!

Shi Xi changed her sentence. “I only want to be a female celebrity, not an employee.”

In comparison, a lowly employee’s choice was even more tragic.

Shi Xu: …He felt that female celebrities were a little more glamorous.

“Let’s discuss it with Dad tomorrow.” Shi Xu patted Shi Xi’s head. “I respect your decision.”

Shi Xi avoided his big hand.

Shi Xu muttered, “I just don’t know if Dad respects your decision.”

“Brother, don’t you have real power as a CEO?” Shi Xi complained, “Grandpa can let whoever he wants to be the deputy director. If Dad wants us to go in, he can let us in?”

Shi Xi: …

“Rest early.” Shi Xu got up and left.

Shi Xi thought to herself, ‘If you guys didn’t come to disturb me, I would have gone to bed long ago!’

‘If there’s anything, can’t you just say it at dinner?!’
