Her Silent Scream

Returning home, I went to my room directly. Putting the chocolate packet on the table, I kept staring at it for a while. As I got home earlier today, there was still time for Magrib prayer. Find the original chapter at NovelCEO.

While thinking about Esha, I stood by the balcony. The glaring look of Arhaan was bothering me. Then I kept thinking about his behaviour towards me.

I tried to figure out the reason behind it. Then it hit my mind and I uttered under my breath, ”Did he by any chance hear me saying all those words to that young man outside of the airport? As he loves his sister so much, it’s undebatable that he wouldn’t tolerate those words of mine.

May be that’s it. Then should I ask for his forgiveness? Though my brother is like that but it doesn’t give me the right to say all those about siblings’ relationship.

But if I just say sorry, he might just utter again ’What a joke!’ like previous time. And I can’t just tell him about my family or my brother, right?”

”Then you should stop being with them” my mind replied to my question instantly.

Keeping silent for a while, I uttered under my breath, ”May be it’s in my fate to just stay all alone”

I took a decision of not visiting Esha again and felt my eyes getting all watery as I really started to like those people. I always felt all comfortable and happy being with them. They cared for me for which I always went on craving from my family but they didn’t bother.

Hearing Magrib Azan, I wiped the eyes and went towards washroom to make ablution.

After 5 Days

Mahmud Mansion

It has been five days and Khushi didn’t visit Esha. The little soul kept waiting for her in the afternoon for every single days and when she found Khushi not coming to her, she went to Areesha or Arhaan with teary eyes while uttering the same words, ”Aunty didn’t even come today!”

Areesha was also sad about this and Arhaan who was also sad seeing the sad face of his family but was relieved to have Khushi stay away from his family.

He always tried to cheer his family up by pulling out different things when they became sad and just when he thought they forgot about Khushi, they made him feel wrong by being the same way at the time when Khushi used to go there.

Khushi’s P.O.V.

After lunch, I slept for sometime and got up after having a sweet dream. Remembering the dream, a smile crept on my lips. But as soon as I caught the sight of the picture of Ammi in the photo frame, the smile got wiped off and I got down from bed.

While sobbing, I got ready and left my house. Getting on a taxi, I forwarded towards my destination while crying silently......
