Originally, the make-up artist was about to be more detailed and exquisite with Bai Shuangshuang’s makeup, but now she was getting rather fed up and decided that she will just do a perfunctory job.

“How much time do we have until we have to leave?” Bai Shuangshuang asked.

Xiao Li glanced at her watch. “Another one and a half hours.”

“Come here.” Bai Shuangshuang waved her hand, beckoning at Xiao Li.

When Xiao Li walked over, Bai Shuangshuang waved her hand again at the makeup artist, shooing her away. “Move aside for a while.”

Right now, the makeup artist was still calm upon being shooed away. Getting angry at this id*ot Bai Shuangshuang was equal to degrading herself to her level.

Therefore, without a word, the makeup and her two assistants left the room.

“Sister Shuangshuang, what are your orders?” Xiao Li asked softly, trying to appease her.

“Go to Lu Man’s room and confirm if it’s really Shi Xiaoya. Of course, this is not the main reason I’m getting you to go there, it’s just one of it,” Bai Shuangshuang said.

Suddenly, Xiao Li had a rather bad premonition. “Then… then what’s the main reason for me going over there?”

Bai Shuangshuang curled her lips upwards schemingly. “Head in there and take a look if Lu Man has changed into the dress she’s wearing for tonight’s premiere, however people generally don’t wear it so early. Try to think of a way to destroy her dress. Remember to find a good time, don’t let her have any time to be able to buy a new one.”

“This…” Xiao Li was reluctant to do so. “This is too difficult. There are so many people in her room.”

“Precisely because there are so many people it will be easier for you to do it. It’s so chaotic and noisy in there, who would care about you?” Bai Shuangshuang stood up. She then took out a pocket knife from the stationary box on the desk. “Take this.”

Xiao Li’s eyes widened in shock. This pocket knife definitely wasn’t kept by the hotel staff.

To put in more seriously, this was a weapon. Why would a hotel provide such a dangerous tool!

Bai Shuangshuang must have prepared this beforehand. She had already firmly decided to ruin Lu Man’s appearance tonight.

“Take it!” Bai Shuangshuang’s face darkened.

Xiao Li shook her head. “Sister Shuangshuang, there are so many people looking, what… what if I get caught?”

Bai Shuangshuang pursed her lips unhappily. “Can’t you just be more careful? Don’t keep thinking about getting caught. I’ve already told you, there are so many people in there, who would notice you? Besides, if you really get caught, could Lu Man even call the police to arrest you? All you did was just ruin a dress, it’s no big deal. So be it if you get caught. You’re not even depending on her for work or money, why are you so afraid!”

Xiao Li gritted her teeth. If that was the case, why won’t she do it herself then?

Although she really wasn’t relying on Lu Man for employment to have an income, she wasn’t willing to offend Lu Man out of the blue without any reason.

Back then when they were in South Yunnan, she really oblivious to everything. Even if she had heard from Xu Fenglai that Lu Man was very impressive in the PR industry, as someone not from the field, she didn’t know much about the public relations industry in depth and so she couldn’t tell how impressive Lu Man was either, and hence didn’t really care about Xu Fenglai’s words.

However, that was until the matter about Yu Xingzhou came up. Lu Man alone had played with Yu Xingzhou’s fans until they were silent but still fuming. Even now, Yu Xingzhou had yet to make an appearance.

Xiao Li finally realized just how capable and strong Lu Man was. She was such a ruthless and domineering person. Who would dare to anger her?

Xiao Li was really afraid that she would offend Lu Man. Even if Lu Man wasn’t her direct employer, Lu Man would still be able to find a way to mess with her terribly.

Moreover, Bai Shuangshuang should consider this too, even though Lu Man was a little famous these past few days, she was only a little more famous than an average person.

Right now, she still wasn’t an official celebrity or anything, and yet she could still hire Shi Xiaoya?

Definitely, there was someone supporting Lu Man behind the scenes.

She didn’t know how impressive that person behind Lu Man was, but at least that person could invite Shi Xiaoya while Bai Shuangshuang’s sugar daddy couldn’t.
