Bai Shuangshuang was being a bit too forceful right now.

Moreover, Bai Shuangshuang’s temper in the crew had always been quite big, whereas Lu Man had always been low key and polite.

Thus, everyone could not help but believe Lu Man more.

Bai Shuangshuang expression stiffened, and she did not know how to respond to Lu Man.

“Miss Bai, I did not drink coffee either, because I try to avoid drinking drinks that will irritate my nerves, I’m sorry for wasting your goodwill.” Mi Qiansong just could not stand it anymore.

Lu Man looked at Mi Qiansong, and could not help but smile.

Be it her previous life or this one, Mi Qiansong always had this personality, whenever she saw something unfair happening, she would stand up against it, not caring about the status of the other person and what effect it will have on her.

Lu Man remembered how in her past life, upon seeing her being bullied in jail, Mi Qiansong had come forward to protect her in the prison, and from then on, no one dared to torment Lu Man ever again.

Even now, Mi Qiansong was standing up for her again.

“I did not know either, that not drinking the coffee you bought was disrespecting you.” Lu Man smiled coldly.

“I didn’t say that, don’t misinterpret my meaning!” Bai Shuangshuang said angrily.

“Really? You’re a senior, so what you say is right,” Lu Man mocked.

“Lu Man, don’t bully people like that. Our Older Sister Shuangshuang treated everyone in the crew to coffee out of good-will, yet you still act so rudely. Is it that you feel that a cup of coffee is very cheap? You should see the total number of people in the production crew, Older Sister Shuangshuang took care of it all, it’s not cheap at all, alright?” Bai Shuangshuang’s assistant Xiao Li, tried currying favor with Bai Shuangshuang by speaking in favor of Bai Shuangshuang, seizing the opportunity to show her stance.

“If you have the ability, and think coffee is cheap, why didn’t I ever see you treat the people in the production group to anything?” Xiao Li mocked, her features turning crueler.

“The two of you are too weird.” Mi Qiansong pursed her lips. “Aren’t you being unreasonable? When did Lu Man say that she looked down on the coffee Miss Bai gave? Just because she isn’t drinking it, you both are unhappy? This is too funny. Is it that you feel that the coffee you gave is some holy water? Please don’t have such a vivid imagination. We need to film together for a lot of days, what’s the use of harping on such a small thing?”

Just a cup of coffee, is it that she had to drink it just cause you bought it?

Why was it that she couldn’t not drink it because her body was not good?

So unreasonable!

“Who are you to speak to Older Sister Shuangshuang like this!” Xiao Li said angrily.

Lu Man pulled Mi Qiansong behind her, scared that if she continued to talk, Mi Qiansong would lose out.

Bai Shuangshuang was not a big star, but she was still considered a B-list actor, even though she was barely one.

But from what she knew, Bai Shuangshuang had a rich backer behind her, although he was not as powerful as Han Zhuoli, he still had some power in the entertainment industry.

Moreover, Bai Shuangshuang was obviously very petty and would definitely try to cause trouble for Mi Qiansong behind the scenes.

Although Bai Shuangshuang could harm her, she could still make influence those producers to not keep Mi Qiansong as a martial arts director.

“People will respect you if they respect them,” Lu Man said coldly, “If you want people to be polite to you, then you must first treat others with politeness. We did not provoke you in any way, and it’s just that we did not drink the coffee, yet you’re refusing to let go, and keep on insulting and forcing us, isn’t it too much!”

“What’s going on?” Xu Fenglai noticed the fierce argument, at first, he thought that it was a small misunderstanding and hence he did not care about it, but upon seeing that Bai Shuangshuang was still refusing to give up and kept on arguing and that even her assistant Xiao Li was unreasonable, adding fuel to fire, he rushed over.
