Behind the Scenes in Naruto World

Ross spread out his palm indifferently and chuckled, “Agent Uehara, you can talk freely here. Iron Man, Hulk, Captain Rogers, pick any one of them, no matter who it is…”

“Is there anything else to say?”

Uehara Naraku raised his eyebrows and looked at everyone present, “Because of the Avengers Initiative, these superheroes are at least willing to listen to some of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s orders…”

He could talk casually to the previous question.

But at this time, he absolutely could not make a casual statement.

This was because the Avengers were actually much more important than S.H.I.E.L.D.. That was the ultimate force that would protect Earth in the future.

“Then let’s skip this topic first…”

Ross opened the last document and his expression gradually became solemn, “I heard that you are a member of Akatsuki, representing Earth to join this cosmic organization. What do you think about Akatsuki Organization?”

“I have not completely grasped the information about Akatsuki.”

Uehara Naraku frowned and his face became more and more serious, “There is one thing I can tell you, Earth must find a way to occupy a place in this organization. This is also the task that Director Fury gave me.

The Akatsuki Organization is a cosmic peace organization that may very well determine the fate of many planets, but the Earth cannot leave its fate to others.

If Akatsuki is a rule…

Then we must find a way to slowly grasp the rules.

At least now we know part of the rules. If the Earth still has members in the Akatsuki Organization, the Battle of New York will become a battlefield between the Akatsuki Organization and the Chitauri, but how the war will be resolved will be left to Earth…”

“…”

Ross fell silent.

This Air Force Lieutenant General turned to discuss with the few old men next to him. Their voices were very low, whispering in front of Uehara Naraku.

This so-called report was actually just a formality.

Because S.H.I.E.L.D. could not find a better candidate than Uehara Naraku, they just casually wanted to inspect Uehara Naraku to make the last insurance.

After a simple chat, Ross thought that this candidate was almost suitable, and the World Security Council’s people also thought that it was possible… The only problem was probably when Nick Fury woke up.

Anyway…𝐟r𝗲𝚎𝚠e𝐛no𝘃𝗲𝐥.c𝗼m

This was considered as them seizing power when Nick Fury was inconvenient.

In fact, it was not considered seizing power, because Uehara Naraku showed that he was very obedient to Nick Fury’s orders in the data.

In other words, Uehara Naraku was very respectful to the orders of almost any superior, and he did not seem to have made any mistakes in his principles.

“Then, Agent Uehara.”

After chatting for a while, Ross’ eyes fell on Uehara Naraku again, “During the time when Director Nick Fury is recuperating, S.H.I.E.L.D.’s intelligence work will fall on you. I hope you can take the responsibility of S.H.I.E.L.D Acting Director…”

“Acting Director?”

Uehara Naraku raised his head in disbelief.

“Yes.”

Ross spread out his hands and explained, “Because of the assassination attempt on Fury, S.H.I.E.L.D. became a group of dragons without a leader. Someone must take on Fury’s responsibility…”

Ross looked at Uehara Naraku and continued, “You represent Earth in Akatsuki Organization. You also need a high position…”

This was the most important reason why they considered Uehara Naraku.

Compared to other people, Uehara Naraku’s advantage was unique.

No one could be sure whether Earth will encounter interstellar wars in the future. It was no doubt that it was not a bad thing to train a qualified Earth representative in advance…

To be honest…

If some of them present could get a part of the energy of the Cosmic Cube and join Akatsuki as the Earth representative, they could at least get a high position in the White House…

Ross looked at Uehara Naraku, who was stunned by their decision. He chuckled and continued to talk about the reason why the World Security Council and the military supported Uehara Naraku to become the acting director of S.H.I.E.L.D..

“You are the Earth representative in Akatsuki…”

“You are also a member of the Avengers…”

“We have thought about it for a long time. There is no one more suitable than you. At least when Fury is recovering, S.H.I.E.L.D.’s work will be handed over to you…”

Buzz Buzz Buzz…

The dull vibration of the phone interrupted Uehara Naraku’s appointment. Tony Stark’s profile picture was shaking frequently on the screen…

“Sorry, I have to answer a phone call.”
