Behind the Scenes in Naruto World

Chapter 540 - On the Eve of the Big Event: The Reaction of Dark King Rayleigh

Portgas D. Ace was arrested!

The World Government’s latest news was like a bomb. After the newspaper was sent to all parts of the world, it immediately caused a big sensation in the whole sea!

Everyone who got the newspaper saw the news headline and realized that it was very likely that this was a big event that could change the direction of the world!

Portgas D. Ace…

No matter what, it was impossible to ignore the impact of this man being arrested!

The World Government was even more knowledgeable about Portgas D. Ace’s background. They told the whole world about the details of Portgas D. Ace’s birth as if they did not care about how big of an impact the bloodline of Pirate King Gol D. Roger would have in the world!

But…

This was too shocking!

Especially in the news, the World Government was not stingy with their appreciation for Ace. The meaning of his words was that Portgas D. Ace was simply a real heaven-chosen person. If he was not arrested, he must be the next Pirate King!

From Spade Pirates to Whitebeard Pirates…

Portgas D. Ace seemed to be a subordinate of Whitebeard, but in fact, he did not lose anything because Ace would definitely carry the blood of Gol D. Roger and the will of Edward Newgate and be crowned as the new Pirate King!

The World Government did not spare the pen and ink and even somewhat exaggeratedly claimed that this Portgas D. Ace, who bears the fate of the great pirate era, would definitely become the new Pirate King with the support of Whitebeard, just like his real father!

It almost blew Ace into the sky…

However, one sentence causes the news to turn around. Portgas D. Ace, who was going to become the new Pirate King, was arrested by World Government, and the danger was killed in the bud.

The topic was first raised and then suppressed!

No, it should be said that this was a grease fire!

Obviously, the person who wrote this article was definitely not ordinary.

At the end of the news…

The name of a World Government official, Yakushi Kabuto, hung on it.

Kabuto, the man who made the sea change its color, casually left a sentence.

[One month later, Pirate King Gol D. Roger’s remnant Portgas D. Ace and Roger Pirates Ship Doctor Crocus will be publicly executed, at the same time, their executions will open the prelude to the end of the Great Pirate Era.]

Sabaody Archipelago.

Grove 13, Shakky’s Rip-off Bar.

An old man wearing glasses was sitting at the bar counter, looking down at the newspaper and drinking rum every now and then.

Even though the old man’s hair had turned white, his body still looked strong and energetic.

It was the vice-captain of Roger Pirates, Rayleigh.

As the vice-captain of the Pirate King’s ship, Rayleigh had witnessed the truth of the great treasure. He has already long retired into seclusion and no longer asks about the affairs of the sea.

Today, his expression was obviously not quite right.

“What’s wrong?”

The bar owner, Shakuyaku, was lying on the bar counter. She puffed out a smoke ring with a cigarette in her mouth and asked softly, “Seeing that Roger’s son is going to be executed, you finally can’t sit still anymore?”

“No.”

Rayleigh shook his head. His eyes fell on the last paragraph, and his voice was a little loud, “Little Ace is Whitebeard Pirates’ crew. We can’t interfere with the matters on that guy’s ship. This is the iron law of the sea…”

In fact, Rayleigh had already stopped paying attention to Ace.

Since Ace went out to sea, Rayleigh had paid attention to Ace’s growth and wanted to help him in the Sabaody Archipelago matter before. But when Rayleigh saw that Sasuke was invited to join Spade Pirates, he was completely relieved about Ace’s departure.

Rayleigh was once shocked by Sasuke’s strength. At that moment, he even thought that history has never followed the rules, and history may repeat itself in their juniors!

Even if Rayleigh had witnessed the great secret treasure and many prophecies, he could not help but think that Portgas D. Ace would be like Gol D. Roger, finding more and more companions until he defeated all the powerhouses of this sea…

Arrive at Raftel and becomes the new Pirate King!

Especially after the vice-captain of Spade Pirates, Uchiha Sasuke defeated Benn Beckman; even the Red-Haired Shanks were helpless against them. Rayleigh once thought that history might repeat itself!

In fact, Rayleigh was very happy in private.

This old man no longer believed in the so-called prophecy.
