Shu Yu had learned everything she needed to know. She exhaled a breath and stood up to speak to the Tan family father and son, “I didn’t expect Jiang Kuanyu to have an accident. She paused, nodded, “I understand.”

Shu Yu knew Old Master Tan had her best interests at heart, and she smiled, “Alright, I’ll pretend I don’t know about Jiang Kuanyu’s matter. He’s just a businessman who sold me the manor.”

Old Master Tan smiled, “Exactly, just like that.”

Shu Yu left the Tan family, and after bidding farewell to Old Master Tan, the smile on her face faded as she got on the carriage.

With a sigh of slight distress, she also wished not to get involved and for this matter to just end here.

But she didn’t want to be entangled, while the other side wouldn’t let them go.
